SaiRat : The Family Reunion

Virat's Gift

Continuing from the last part,

Virat continued his job of taking care of his family, till the time he was on leave. Sai's wound was almost healed, but still she was under observation by Virat 🤭. Soon Virat too joined his duty.

In morning,
Virat was ready for his PS, when he saw Sai struggling for something keeping her hand on her bandage.

V - Kya hua Sai koi problem hai?

S - Kuch nahi, bas aap Usha maushi ko bula dijiye (trying to sound rude)

V - Vo Usha maushi toh Veena Kaki ke saath unke ghar gayi hui hai, tumhe kuch chahiye mein abhi de deta hu.

S - Nahi kuch nahi chahiye 😏

Then she slowly started removing her bandage from her shoulder. Virat saw that and immediately held her hand. He went and brought the first aid box. He sat beside her and slightly pulled her kurti from her shoulder (le me - 🌚😁)

S - Ye aap kya kar rahe hai 😳

V - Bas tumhari bandage change kar raha hu (said with a small smile)

S - Mein... mein khud karlungi (stammered while saying)

V - Ha dekha maine.

He slowly removed her old bandage and started cleaning the wound, he too applied a new bandage. Sai was all red, while Virat was concentrated on the bandage. After complition he kept the first aid box on its place and stood up.

V - Sai mein PS ja raha hu, Usha maushi thodi der mein aajayengi bas tab tak tum kuch mat karna aur yaha se hilna bhi nahi. Mein aate vakt Savi aur Vinu ko le aaunga. Bye!

But Sai did not reciprocate, Virat understood and went away silently. At evening Virat was back at home with Savi & Vinu, he brought candyfloss for them and Sai too. He went towards his room and saw Sai seated on the bed, scrolling through her phone. He went close to her and handed her 5 packets of candyfloss, a rose and an envelope.

S - Kya hai iss envelope mein? Aur ye rose aur candyfloss  aap mujhe kyu de rahe hai?

V - Candyfloss toh mein Savi aur Vinu ke liye la raha tha, toh tumhare liye bhi le aaya kyuki mujhe pata hai candyfloss tumhe bohot pasand hai. Aur rahi rose ki baat, toh kya mein apni biwi ke liye rose nahi la sakta.....ye letter padhlo, uska reason tumhe khud pata chal jayega.

S - Mujhe aapki di hui koi bhi cheez nahi chahiye, toh please ye aap apne pass hi rakhiye 😏

V - Ye sab tumhare liye hai, toh mein tumhe hi dunga na (and left from there)

Sai started reading the letter, while Virat went towards the living room. He was enjoying with Savi and Vinu, they were feeding candyfloss to him while he was feeding them. After their cute feeding bantar Virat said....

Virat - Chalo dono jaldi se fresh ho jau aur snacks kha kar, homework karlo. Phir uske baad hum teeno game khelenge, okayy!

Savi - Hum garden mein cricket khelenge 😁

Vinu - Nahi hum ludo khelenge 😗

Savi - Cricket!

Vinu - Ludo!

Virat - Acha acha hum dono khelenge, okay! Par pehle snacks aur homework karlo. Go run run.

They went to freshnup, while Virat to went towards the room. When he entered he saw Sai glaring at him, he gulped in fear.

S - Aap khudko samjhte kya aap ye rose aur ye letter mujhe denge, yaha vaha ki baate likhenge, maafi mangenge aur sab thik ho jayega. Apki saari galtiya sahi ho jayengi, toh aap phirse harbaar ki tarah galat hi hai. Mujhe pehle in sabse cheezo farak padta tha, kyuki mein aapse pyaar karti thi. Par jiss din aapne uss aurat ko ghar vapas laya meri baat ko ansuna kardiya, uss din se aapke liye mera pyaar khatam ho gaya.

V - Sai meri baat....

S - Hospital se leke ab tak maine aap hi ki  baat suni hai, kyuki mein baccho ke saamne koi tamasha nahi chahti thi. Vo tamasha jo harbaar Chavan Niwas mein hota tha, iske liye mein chup thi. Par mein aur chup nahi reh sakti, aap ye sab apna concern wala natak band kardijiye. Mein akele apne baccho ko sambhal sakti hu, aap unke Baba hai aapka unn par haq hai isliye mein kuch nahi keh sakti. Aapka baccho par pura haq hai aap unka khayal rakh sakte hai, unke liye kuch bhi kar sakte hai par mere liye aapko kuch bhi karne ki koi jarurat nahi hai. Aage se ye sab mat kijiyega aur ye candyfloss baccho ko de dijiye.

She took a lighter from the side table and burnt the envelope & rose in front of Virat. He was standing there like an stone idol with moist eyes, he did not a say word in reply. Just took a pair of casuals and entered the washroom. He came out after few minutes with red puffy eyes and dull face. He went outside the house and sat on the chair, his mind was just reminding him about Sai's words. Tears started flowing from his eyes, later someone patted his shoulder. He turned and found Savi & Vinu's worried face as they saw there father was crying silently.

Savi - Kya hua Baba aap ro kyu rahe hai?

Vinu - Ha Baba kahi aapko lagi toh nahi na? (Virat nodded his head in no)

Savi - Kya Aai ne aapko data?

Virat - (in mind) Mujhe Savi aur Vinu ko sab sach bata dena chahiye.
