Alina just woke up to get ready to go to the airport. She checked her phone and saw Mason's text from last night that she didn't reply to. She was going to but she fell asleep. She replied back before leaving the hotel.

She feels bad for not giving him a call the past couple of days and for sending rusty messages. It's just that the whole Niska situation made her want to avoid her phone for a while and just enjoy the last few days. She hopes he's not too frustrated about it. She will eventually explain everything.

Hey Mase, miss you too!
On my way to the airport
now, ttys❤️

Mason woke up around 10 pm. He had training today to get ready for the Champions League game tomorrow at Stamford Bridge. He checked his messages and saw a reply from Alina. Seeing her use the red heart too made him smile. It sounds silly, but it means a lot to him.

The last few days, Mason has been missing her so much. He understands that being in another country can occupy someone's time and that they might be busier than ever. That's why he's planning on asking her to come to the game tomorrow., so he can see her.

He made himself breakfast and packed his bag to go to the training centre in Cobbham.

The plane had landed around 1 pm. Everyone was exhausted and headed home to their own places. Alina unpacked her suitcase because she knew she wouldn't have the energy to do it later.

She couldn't focus on a lot of things. Despite being tired, she just wanted to be with Mason and talk to him. She knows he's at training at the moment, so she drops a message, hoping he'll see it as soon as she finishes.

Alina
Hey Mase, I just came home
from the airport. Could you
please come over? Or if you're
tired, I'll come over, I just
need to see you🤍

Alina put her phone back and finished up with unpacking her bag. She didn't eat anything on the plane, she had zero appetite, even now she feels sick. It's a normal habit she has after a trip.

Mason saw the message she had sent and he replied back as soon as he saw it, telling her he'd come over. He was surprised that she asked and a bit worried. They haven't spoken much after all, and he's had these negative thoughts just eating him inside, telling him that she might regret this whole thing.

He had already gotten a shower there and was now on his way over to Alina's apartment. It only took a few minutes before he arrived. He parked nearby and walked up to her apartment, excited and nervous at the same time.

When Alina heard the doorbell ring, she ran straight to the door and opened it. She hugged Mason tight before he could even step a foot inside.

"Woah, hello to you too," Mason chuckled, hugging her back. She didn't say anything, just hugged him. She instantly felt safe in his arms.

"You ok?" he asked as he cupped her face. She looked up at him, still hugging him tight.

"I just missed you," she said, looking at him. He placed a kiss on her lips and said, "I missed you too."

Alina eventually let him come inside. It was the first time he had been to her apartment, and it looked beautiful. You could tell she was the one who lived here. Everything is organised, clean, and she has loads of framed pictures on the wall that she has taken of different cities.

They went over to her room and cuddled in bed. She instantly went back to hugging him again. "How have you been?" he asked as he wrapped his arms around her.

"Good, what about you?" she asked

"My week has been boring; let's talk about yours," he chuckled.

"France was fun. I don't know what more to say," she said

"I saw your Instagram pictures. You looked so fucking hot in that outfit," he said thinking back to it. Being in a secret relationship also means that they can't comment on each other's posts and Mason couldn't tell her her those words until now.

She giggled at his comment, but it didn't last long because, in reality, that night was shit

"Did Niska sing there?" Mason asked.

Alina nodded. "He invited us and took us backstage," Alina said, not sounding happy about it, which Mason noticed.

"So you were with him backstage," he asked, tensely.

"All of us were, with other artists too, but we left early," Alina said.

"Why," he asked curiously.

"It was late," she said. She didn't want to mention what had happened. She wasn't sure if it was necessary or if she even wanted him to know. It would cause unnecessary worry, and she didn't have the energy for that.

"Are you ok?" she asks him. She can feel him tense up when he asks about the rapper.

"Yea", he shrugged.

"Are you free tomorrow?" he changed the subject.

"Yea, why?" she asked, curious.

"I was wondering if you would like to come to the Champions League game tomorrow," he asked, hoping she would say yes.

She looked up at him, surprised but smiling. "Really?" she asked.

He smiled and nodded. "Of course I'll come," she said, excited

"My dad and my brother will be there too. You'll be in the box, so don't worry about fans or paparazzi," he assured her.

"I'm so excited." She hugged him again as she rested her head on his chest.

"Oh, and don't forget about the photoshoot in two days," Alina reminded him. He smiles to himself and wraps his arms around her, "I'm looking forward to it."
