'Why are we doing this?' Paul asked through the pack mind link
'What have the leeches ever done for us? Besides making us shift.' Leah asked
'We have a duty to protect La Push and technically Forks from leeches.' Sam answered
Paul and Leah huffed their displeasure through the mind link.
Soon the 8 wolf wolf pack came to a stop.
"They're here." The mind reading leech told everyone
The pack then stepped out of the treeline and onto the small hill below. Immediately, Paul set his sights on Emmett.
'I should have torn his arm off.' Paul thought
'Paul. Enough.' Sam warned
They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms." The bronze haired one told his creator
"They came. That's what matters." Carlisle said, "Will you translate?"
Jacob's rival for Bella's affection nodded. Carlisle moved slowly toward their pack and Sam stepped forward as well.
"Welcome. Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them." Carlisle said as he gestured toward Jasper
'Newborns? What are those?' Quil asked
'Babies, duh.' Jared snickered
"They want to know how the 'newborns' differ from us." Edward said
"They're a great deal stronger than us, because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life." Carlisle said looking at the shifters
'Woah!' Seth thought
The pack took this in and Carlisle nodded to Jasper to take over. Jasper, who looked uncomfortable with both the wolves and the attention, stepped forward so that he is in front of the wolves, "Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A newborn army, doesn't need thousands like a human army. And no human army could stand against them."
'Is it too late to backout?' Embry asked
'Yes.' Sam answered
Just then two leeches, a blonde and brunette, jumped down from a tree into the middle of the clearing, causing the cold ones to hiss and the shifters to growl.
"And our kind is stronger than all of you since you aren't really vampires." The blonde said in a British accent
"What do you mean 'not really vampires'?!" The blonde cold one raged and the large one grabbed her hand
'Who are they?' Quil asked
'Are they different from these leeches? Like harder to kill?' Leah wondered
'Knock off Vamps.' Embry snickered
Carlisle stepped forward and looked as if he wanted to bring Sigrid into a hug, "Thank you for coming." He tells her
The human girl moved forward, "You're fighting with them?"
The new blonde vampire nodded.
"I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me." Bella said looking down.
Her statement caused the vampire to laugh loudly, "I'm a Mikaelson, Darling. I can't be killed."
'What does that mean?' Jacob asked
