and my grandmother is giving me insecurities about the way my eyes look
though i suppose this is what elder relatives do
i would say they'd only do this cuz they care
but you know that's not true
that one thing everyone can relate to
heartbreak and family trauma
if only as entertaining as a relationship drama
passing down to generation
remember how we said we would be different?
anyway still a parent
