You hated that you were so wrecked by him just staring at you. Even though he is a Hive God, it should not have you pacing your apartment like this.

Syrok stared you down before he attacked you, why don't you think about them?

But Oryx didn't attack you, he had his minions try to kill you. He controls the Taken but you would think he would kill you himself for finding him and giving his location to the Vanguard.

You know that the ship that arrived was his. You were dreading having to visit the Dreadnaught. But you had to, you were the main guardian in the battle to stop the  Taken from growing. You found the source.

You had to kill him. You had to end him to stop the spread of the Taken. You would normally be thrilled to have a mission like this, leaving the Tower, being out on the frontier. But, this mission no longer sounded fun. It was dangerous

You know he's back because you murdered Crota, his son, with no mercy. You had to kill him to stop the loss of guardians.

"I just need to calm down and get some sleep before the mission," You told yourself but you couldn't quench the thoughts that plagued your mind. Then, another thought emerged and it shocked you to the core...

Do I even want to be a guardian?

You were found on Earth by your ghost. You had to kill the innocent creatures of different races that are just trying to survive. Nothing seemed fair. You felt like you had to live in a never ending cycle of pain and suffering.

As much as you didn't want to believe it, you gave in to that thought. You couldn't do this anymore. You had to get away.

You threw your armor stained with the "blood" of the Taken and you headed to your ship. You needed to get away. You didn't know where to go. All you knew was you needed a place to think.

Eventually you ended up at the Dreadnaught, even though it was the last place you wanted to be. The light could still reach you here, but it wasn't as strong as other places in the solar system.

You wanted to be as far from the light as you could without leaving the solar system. This was the edge of it. Ghost wasn't particularly happy with it since he needed the light to live and to keep you alive.

You had decided to set up a camp near where the Vanguard had set up patrol markers, you camp was out of sight though. It had everything you needed. You  decided to try and get some sleep...

with hopes that the Vanguard doesn't know you left.

(Author's Note: So this was just a bit of a filler chapter but it is still important to the story. (Y/N) doesn't want to be a guardian anymore so they leave to make a camp on the Dreadnaught where the light doesn't reach. I still don't really know where this story is headed)
