It's currently night as the Hales were tracking the Alpha.
Derek and Talulah tracked the Alpha to the school and found him about to attack their children's chemistry teacher, Mr Harris. "Get down!" Derek yells, grabbing the teacher and pulling him out of the way as a table was about to fly into him.
Looking around the room as Talulah vamp sped into the classroom, the Alpha was already gone.

The teacher looked at the couple as a blinding light, shone through the windows. "Hands up! This is the sheriff's department! Do not move!" A voice warns through a megaphone. "Tal, we have to go" Derek tells his wife, getting a nod of agreement as she grabs onto his hand and vamp sped them away.
Making it outside, the couple ran through an alleyway.
They ran, but skidded to a stop as they saw headlights, coming around a corner.
