I was at Ava's crib writing in my journal while nodding my head , her bedroom door opening revealing her "hey bae" she came over kissing my cheek "wassup mama" I responded
"you ok?" She asked ,she asked me that everyday, and I loved it,I ain't had no girl check on me as much as she did, she was always there for me and her family loveddd me "yea baby,I'm good, you ok?" "Yea, always " she smiled
"Come on so I can do ya hair" she sat on her bed and opened up her legs , I got off of the bed and sat on her pink rug "did you wash ya hair" she picked through it "nope" I popped the p "come on David" she got up walking to the bathroom
"Why you got on them li ass shorts ma?" I pulled on her ethika shorts "because." She laughed a li bit "you went to the store in these" I looked her dead in the face "no,I know better, I wore my puffer, some sweats, and some crocs" she rolled her eyes after what she said "oh ok" I let her got
She bent over into the cabinet grabbing the shampoo and conditioner "turn on the water" she pointed to the bathtub "TALIYAHHHH" her mom yelled through the house "YEA MAMI" she yelled back "WHAT YA DOIN?"
"FINNA WASH DAVID HAIR, WHY WHAT HAPPENED?" She took a couple of steps outside of the bathroom "NOTHING IM FINNA GO TO WORK" "ALRIGHT LOVE YOU" "LOVE YOU TOO" "LOVE YOU MA" I yelled "LOVE YOU TOO DAVID"
"What's was the reasoning of yelling?" I asked "I don't kno, put your head in the water" she walked towards the bathtub and sat on the toilet
I put my head under the water as she massaged my scalp , she then started to massage it with shampoo, she rinsed it then did the conditioner,after she rinsed it she dried my hair with the towel and we went back into her room
We chopped it up and listened to music,my song wit bbg popped up "I still don't like how you let that bitch twerk on you" she continued to braid my hair "ma ,that's a grown ass woman, it was jus for the music video " I chuckled a lil bit "mmhm,wtv you say" she rolled her eyes parting another piece of hair
"How many braids we got left" I yawned laying my head on her thigh, I grabbed her legs laying them over my shoulders playing wit the white nail polish in her toes
"Like 4 " she said gripping my head "mmm" i hummed and continued to play wit her feet , i soon started to doze off
"Get in the bed dd" Ava said closing up her hair items "huh" I looked around "get in the bed" I felt my head feeling my head had a durag on it "I'm done" "yesss David, get in bed" she laughed walking over to her bed and laying down, I got up and laid on her stomach feeling it go up and down as she breathed
"Thank you ma" I said "for what?" She flipped through rain sounds on her tv "for bein there for me for the past year" I said hearing a smile come across her face "your welcome baby" she leaned down and kissed my forehead as my eyes were half closed
