I was chillin wit dd & ddot in ddot house . My girl had left to go to her & her sister house
I ain't like her out by herself but she told me she had it and she could go by herself so I trusted her.
"No tii, take the fuckin blunt" dd said snapping me out of my thoughts
"My fault" I said before taking the blunt out of his hand
"Wasgood wit you, why you so quiet?" Ddot asked and I shook my head
"Nothin im chillin" "worried bout mani?" Df asked me and I nodded
"She don't stay in Harlem she stay all the way in Brooklyn, she gotta walk through the oops hood to get home . ion want her to get her hurt or nothing" I shook my head before puffing the blunt
"Gang she's good, she better whoop them nigh as how she be whooping bitches" ddot said making me chuckle
Probably like 5 minutes later there was banging on the door, we all grabbed the weed and put it up.
I opened the door to see a cop "may I help you?" I raised my eyebrow
"Partner of Imani winters?" He asked and I nodded my head "Imani in the hospital she was stabbed 3 times"
When he said that my face dropped , my heart stopped. "Thank you" I said before closing the door
I went to the couch and put my head in my hands and just cried "what he say?" Ddot asked
"Mani got stabbed bro we gotta go" I grabbed my phone putting it in my pocket
Dd grabbed his keys and we all rushed out the door .

We got to the hospital and I rushed to the front desk
"Where's Imani winters? Please tell me quick dont bullshit me" I said trying to stay as calm as possible
"She's in surgery right now, I'm gonna need you to wait" she said making me mug her
"no I need to see her now!" I put some bass in my voice making her jump
"Ethan , chill" I heard Imani sister niyah I hugged her and started to cry
"It's ok, she's ok" she said bringing me to a seat as we sat down
"Where was she at? Who did this" I lifted my head up from my hands
"She was in the Bronx......I'm thinking one of them doa boys did it" she said lowley
I sighed trying not to get mad . I looked at dd and ddot and they looked at me giving a head nod
"Family of Imani winters?" A female doctor said making us all stand up
"She's sleeping right now I believed, but y'all can go to her room,357" he pointed down the hall
We all rushed to her room seeing her drinking a juice box and watching tv"oh hi guys" she smiled
"How are you so happy?" I tilted my head "idk but, I missed you so much" she reached out her arms for a hug
I walked over slowly and hugged her "I missed you too" I said kissing her
"Who did it Imani?" Ddot got straight to the point "uhm? No hello?" She straight faced him
"Nope ." He said sitting at the edge of her bed , her sister went over and hugged her and so did dd"
"All I know, is that I was walking to the deli cause I was hungry, I knew I was in the Bronx but I didn't know until last minute I wasn't paying attention I was on my phone the whole time. When I walked in it was a group of boys and a girl that swore she was one of the boy, they was like "aYe AiNt YoU tHaT nOtTi NiGgA gIrL" and I was like "nah what you takin bout?" One of the boys was like "YeS YoU iS , WhAt YoU dOiNg OuT hErE sHoRtY" and I ain't say nun so the girl was like "YoU hEaRd My HoMeBoY sPeAkInG tO yOu" and I was jus like side eye cause who you takin to shorty? So I start goin back and forth wit da bitch, and I feel a sharp pain to my left side , and two more on my right and my thigh,but yea I blacked out and now I'm here" she finished
"Wait they said you got stabbed 3 times?" I said "yea they told niyah the same thing but they just said sum bout me gettin stabbed in the thigh" she shrugged
"Ight, imma be back to check on you love you" I kissed her forehead
