Mani pov.
I was walking into school late once again. With a McDonald's bag and frappe. I had my headphones on and my hood on my head as I walked down the hallway going to my first period class.
I walked in causing everybody to stare at me, I looked down at my feet and walked back to my seat. I saw that my boyfriend jaylen was sitting with his homeboy making me go and sit by myself.
"Can I sit here?" I heard a voice making me look up, it was a boy with a ponytail, I think his name was notti. I didn't kno him like that but I knew of him, me and him really never talked.
I nodded my head as I continued to eat one of my hash browns out of my McDonald's bag. "Can I have some" I smiled at him and gave him another hash brown I had in my bag
He took it smiling hard "thank you ma" he said making my stomach turn "you jaylen girl right?" He said making me nod my head
"he ain't treating you right cause if he was really ya nigga he would've been over here wit you" notti shrugged and continued to eat the hash brown I gave him
I looked down at my paper and shook my head. I mean he wasn't wrong, me and jaylen been having this going on for about 5-6 months. I was loyal and he wasn't. He would have him moments where he wanted to be loyal and his times where he didn't wanna be loyal .
I continued to do my work as notti sat on his phone "lemme get the answers" he said "alright let me finish first" I whispered loud enough for him to hear me
I finished the paper sliding it over to him so he could copy the answers "don't copy them word for word tho" I whispered again "ma stop whispering" he lift up my chin with his pointer finger
"Sorry" I looked back down as I felt my cheeks get hot "why you apologizing?" Notti asked makin me shake my head
"Put ya number in my phone ma" he slid his phone over to me , I picked it up and save my name as 'mani💝' and texted my self hey just incase he texted me and I ain't kno who it was
We sat in the classroom and he talked to me and I just smiled and whispered at him. Jaylen didn't say to much to me that day and it was weird .
