Chapter 4: The Demon has Arrived

"I was fine but now, I'm not sure."

Bible's POV

Build is still unconscious for the last 2 days. I think, he is getting weak here. I don't want him to go yet, I can't afford to lose him. I am here in the hospital, watching over him. I didn't even realize that it is my birthday today.
"Build, I'm so sorry for leaving you. Hey, it's my birthday today! Can you sing me a birthday song?" - I held his hand and a tear fall down from my eyes.
"Hey Bible, I think you should go home and rest. Mile and I can take turns looking out for him." - Apo and Mile came in. I wanted to stay longer with him but they insisted to let me go home. Now, I'm walking towards our home. Yes, Build and my home. When I entered the house, it's empty.When my parents died and also my grandparents, I always feel so empty. Now it's back again.

I hate myself so much! Why can't I be better? Why can't I be enough? Why am I so useless? Why is everything so painful? I wanna cry so bad but my heart is too broken for me to break it even more. I fight with my silent battles everyday and I even got defeated, by myself. I tried, I always have tried to be better and to be the best but it seems like, it wasn't enough! I keep breaking down and I couldn't even tell anyone. It's hard for me to open up to someone because I've been dealing with pain for so long that I thought I could endure it. I'm not a great and smart and talented person, that's just what I choose to show because I'm afraid that no one will recognize me! I showed that because I hope that some people will actually like me. But why can't I just do better? Why am I living like this? Why am I even breathing?! I'm so tired! I'm so drained! I'm empty, physically, emotionally and spiritually! I don't even know myself anymore! Everytime I look at my reflection I could see someone else! This isn't me! I'm not like this! I don't deserve a life like this? Why couldn't I be happier? Why couldn't I celebrate my birthday happily like other people can?! Why do I have this sad and painful life? Then you came and you showed .e different things! You get me used to having you and now, it's my fault that you are leaving! I can't make people stay! I couldn't. Why do I even try my best if all I received is pain and suffering? I'm not used to this you know! I was supposed to be a normal, healthy, friendly and happy person but now, I'm useless, dumb, stupid and tired. I'm tired with my life! I'm tired of looking at other people enjoying their lives while I'm stuck on thinking and wondering when will I experience those things? I'm tired seeing other people happy while I'm in pain? Some may ask, what's my problem but if I tell you what my problem is, will you all listen? No, right? You'll judge me and you'll never listen! It will always be me, I suffer alone! That's why I can't say it openly because no one will hear me! Well, guess what? This person is dying inside! I'm dying because of what I feel. I'm dying because I don't know how I can handle it. I can't even face the day without faking a smile! You think I like attention? All I want is someone to listen to me and be with me to get through all of this. All I want is for me to be happy. Why is it so hard to smile? Why is it so hard to live everyday? I can't even eat properly because of what others will say. I can't even sleep properly because I overthink everything. I can't be myself. I can't fix me. I give up.

I cried and cried until my lungs gave out and my tears stopped falling. Now, even my tears have stopped. I fell asleep sitting on the table. When I woke up, I saw food at the table.
"Bible, good morning!" - Build? If this is a dream please, don't wake me up.
"Bible, the food is getting cold." - Apo said. Wait? Apo?!
"Are you okay now?" - Mile tapped me on my shoulder. Is this a dream? I want Build only in my dreams.
"What are you two doing here in my dreams?" - I asked them and the three of them laughed. It is not funny!
"Bible, if this is your dream, i would've ruin it!" - Mile said while laughing. Wait, if this is not a dream then...
"Build? Are you really back?!" - He nodded.
"Mile, punch me!" - Apo actually slapped me and it hurts.
"It hurts!" - Mile got shocked at what Apo did.
"At least he will know that this is real." - Apo said.
"You should be careful next time on what you ask." - Build said.
"Wait, what actually happened? Are you okay now?" - I asked Build.
"They already know I'm an angel, a real angel." - What?

Apo's POV

*Flashback*

We are now here at Build's hospital bed. I pity him. Poor guy, I wonder what actually happened. The doctor said it was just a plain accident that causes him to be unconscious but it's been too long now. Mile and I tried to sleep but we can't so we just talked about us. While we were talking, a light suddenly appeared then went inside Build's body!
"Mile is he dying?" - I asked Mile and he is speechless! Then Build wake up.
"Hi guys! I'm your angel and Bible's guardian angel, Build!" - Angel? You mean, an actual real angel?!
"You're an angel? A real one?" - Mile asked and Build just nods.

*End of Flashback*

"Build told us everything and that's why we need to protect you at all cost because..." - Shit! I almost slipped the whole truth about why Build was unconscious for so long.
"Because?" - Bible asked. I looked at Mile signaling him for help.
"Uh, because you are a bad man!" - Thank you love, I'll give you a present later.
"Build! Tell me, is it true?" - Bible asked Build. Build just nods and Bible believe him.
"I heard all your thoughts Bible, while you were sleeping. Don't blame yourself for what happened to me." - So he can read minds too! Interesting!
"And Mile, stop thinking about Apo's body! My brain can't process it!" - I got shocked! This asshole!
"Hehe, sorry." - Mile just hugged me.

Build's POV

I can't tell you the reason Baiben. For now, let me take care of you.

We were enjoying teasing Bible about what happened to him last night then someone rang the doorbell.
"Wonder who could that be." - I said.
"Let me get the door." - Bible stood up. Them after a while, he came back with...
"It's you!" - I saw the guy who helped me at the mall.
"Is he the one who helped you?" - Mile asked.
"Yup! Come in!" - I invited him in. I needed to thank him for what he did. He saved me.
"I'm just going to return this wallet to you. The mall security gave it to me." - What a nice young man.
"Thank you. By the way, what's your name?" - He looked at me then smiled.
"My name is Nodted." - He has a nice name.
"Nice meeting you." - I held out my hand for a handshake but Bible held my hand.
"And I'm Bible, I'm Build's lover." - Nodted just looked at Bible but then, I sensed a demon! It's near!
"I have to go guys. My brother is here to pick me up." - Is it his brother?
"Let me show you out then." - I'm gonna confirm something. We are outside now and the demon aura just disappeared again.
"Uh, Build, guys, this is my brother, Perth!" - The demon is not his brother. Who is it?
"Build, come inside." - Bible called me. I have to protect Bible. He is changing so it's not long til I get to return to heaven. But... I'm not, I'm not ready to go. I don't want to leave.
"Build?" - Apo called.
"I'm coming." - I answered.
"Build, I have to tell you something. You're an angel,right? So you must've sense something." - The demon presence is gone. Now, Apo is asking about it.
"Yes, I'm willing to fight for Bible's safety." - I answered him.
"Why?" - He didn't answer and just got inside the house. That's weird.
"Bible! Bible!!" - I heard Apo screamed so I ran inside then I saw Bible lying down.
"Wait, let me check!" - Mile touched Bible's forehead and also Bible's pulse.
"He have a high fever! He's sweating a lot!" - Apo said.
"Wait! Let me heal him." - I started to perform my healing ability but I sensed a demon artifact!
"The demon was here!" - I saw how Apo got so scared! It's not like he have seen a demon but his face turned pale!
"Apo? What's gotten into you?" - I don't understand his behavior. He is so frightened and he's shaking.
"I need to tell you something very important Build!" - Mile said.
"No Mile! Don't." - Apo stopped him.
"It's okay if you don't want to say it now." - I smiled at him. Then my chest suddenly felt like it's burning!
"Build? Build!" - Apo helped me to balance myself.
"Didn't the superior's told you to maintain your power because it will get you in danger if you use too much?" - How did Apo know?! I haven't told him about that!
"Build, is it true?" - Bible woke up!
"Bible, sorry. It's true about what Apo just said." - Bible is going to get mad at me. I didn't tell him about it.
"Build, it's enough. Stop using your powers for me. A slight fever is nothing on us, humans." - Bible smiled at me. Is he not mad?
"Are you angry?" - I stopped healing him because he's healed already then I asked him.
"No I'm not. It's fine that you didn't tell me that. It's your duty to not tell me, right? So, it's okay." - He patted my head. If you keep on doing this Bible, I might have a problem of leaving to. I hugged him tightly.
"Guys! Me and Apo will go home now." - Mile said.
"Wait!" - I stopped them.
"Apo, I need to ask you something." - I am so confused. Who exactly is he?
"Uhm, we need to go Build so maybe next time." - Mile said.
"Yeah Build." - Bible also said. But I just want to know...
