Ueno Academy, a school for Therian Transients and the base for the Ueno Beast Tamers. Despite being filled with a wide range of personalities, the guild has a strong camaraderie. Pairing up with each other, the "Tamers" can diligently research and perform secret experiments while the "Beasts" guard and defend the guild and the precious intel it generates. They normally handle all their activities within the students of the academy, but today a few of the Therians are in need of an intermediary.

"Leib-senpai! Let's go trick-or-treating!" Cu Sith happily barks into a bedroom.

"Trick-or-treating? Why not just buy some candy and eat it here?" The polar bear pokes his head out from the bedsheets he has confined himself in.

"Oh come on, you really need us to explain it?! The atmosphere, the homemade candy and treats, the costumes that can make us even more lovable than before?!" Alp dances, unable to contain his excitement.

"Do you two think you're still little kids? You're old enough to go out by yourselves." The Ursa Therian yawns loudly.

"It's more fun if we all go together!" Cu Sith wags his tail.

"I should be getting ready for hibernation soon..." Leib buries himself under the covers.

"Senpaiiiiiiiiiiii!!!" The fairy dog rips the sheets off the polar bear and violently shakes him awake.

"Damn you all–Fenrir!"

A thud and a small yelp is heard from one of the dorm rooms in the hall. A moment later, a wolf Transient rushes to the scene.

"Physician and analyst afflicted with lethargy, what has caused you to beckon me during this Hallow's Eve?" Fenrir says in slight discomfort while rubbing his tail.

"Did you fall on your tail or something?" Fenrir nods. "I'll check on that later. Take these two trick-or-treating. Can't sleep with those two pestering me. As long as you get back by curfew, I don't care where or when you go out." The housemaster briefly instructed.

"Me, the Hróðvitnir of Yggdrasil, take the pixie hound and the transmutative demon-panda on a pilgrimage for saccharides? What of the whereabouts of the prodigal Ursa?" Fenrir cryptically inquires. 

"When will you drop that over-the-top way of speaking? Jambavan is out, doing whatever he does when he's not here." Leib's eyes become droopy, threatening to fall asleep once more.

"What?! But, what if our powers of devastation run rampant out in the land? Chaos, possibly even Ragnarok will befall...!"

"O great alder tree, grant me strength to overcome this babbling..." Leib whispers to himself. "Fine, I'll ask (Y/N) to come over. They're usually good with things like this." He sends you a text to get to Ueno ASAP.

~one train ride later~

"I got here as soon as I could, did you guys get attacked or something like last time?!" You arrive at the dorms of Ueno Academy, frantically scanning the place for signs of intrusion from the entryway.

"No, no, nothing like that. I just need you to help Fenrir watch over these two while trick-or-treating." The polar bear points to the common room towards Fenrir, along with the werewolf Cu Sith and the self proclaimed 'Fluffy Franken' Alp.

"Aww, they're so adorable, hey guys!" You wave at them, Fenrir shyly looks away, while the fairy dog and panda become very enthusiastic seeing you. "...wait a minute! THIS is the 'crisis' I snuck out of class early for?!" You drop your sports bag that was filled with the books for your classes today.
