Halloween Special

Summary: You and Dacre start setting up for Halloween and, of course he can't do it without messing with you.

Y/N POV

Spooky season is just around the corner so Dacre and I decided to set up some Halloween decorations

But, I don't really like doing it with him because he always finds something and scares me with it

I decided this year it wasn't going to bother me but, that kind of backfired

Dacre had just brought down all of the boxes of Halloween decorations from the attic and set them on the floor

"Ok, where should we start?" Dacre asked me

"Um, let's start with the cobwebs" I said opening the boxes and getting out the fake spiderwebs

But, as I was putting the cobwebs around the house I saw a black clump in it so, I looked at it more closely

I threw it in the ground when I saw a little black spider in the middle

"DACRE THERE'S A SPIDER IN THE COBWEBS!!!" I screamed

He just laughed

He stepped forward to take a look at the fake spiderwebs

He dug through the tangled white mess and took out a plastic spider

"C'mon Y/N don't be such a scaredy cat" he said while laughing

"Hey, I thought it was real!" I said crossing my arms

He came up to me and kissed the top of my head

"Yeah, but your my scaredy cat" he smiled at me

I smiled back and pulled him into a kiss

I pulled away when I felt something brush against the back of my shoulder

"Dacre, quit trying to scare me, I know that was you" I said

"Ok, that time it wasn't me" he said putting his arms up in defense

"Well, let's get back to decorating then" I said pulling myself out of his arms

I started setting out the pumpkins when I heard something whisper in my ear

"Y/N" it said

I turned around and saw nothing there

"Ok, Dacre this isn't funny anymore" I said

"What's not funny" Dacre said from all the way across the room

"How'd you get over there so fast?" I asked

"I've been over here the whole time, sweetheart" he said

"Then how- nevermind" I decided to let it go

Once I was done with the pumpkins I started working on the skeletons

"These decorations look so real" I said looking at the skeletons in horror

"Yeah, I mean maybe they are real" Dacre said

"Ok, stop trying to scare me" I said

"Why, is it working?" He asked me

I slapped his arm in a playful manner

That's when I heard it again

"Y/N" but once again, when I turned around there was nothing behind me

"Dacre are you sure you're not doing that" I asked him

"Doing what?" He says

"Whispering in my ear" I said

"I'm pretty sure" he said like it was obvious he wasn't doing anything

"Ok" I said still not convinced

I walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water

I was going to take a sip when something jumped in front of me

It had disheveled gray skin and rotting teeth

It was average height but taller than me and it's clothes were all ripped

In other words, it was a zombie

I screamed jumping back and in the process spilling the water all over me

I was going to run to Dacre, when I heard a laugh, like a laugh I knew

I turned around and there stood Joe Keery with a zombie mask in his hand

He was laughing hysterically

Dacre came up behind me and started laughing too

I soon realized that this was a joke and they were just trying to scare me

"Guys!" I yelled "You almost gave me a heart attack" I said clutching my chest

"Did I scare you?" Joe asked

"What? No, absolutely not" I said obviously lying

"C'mon Y/N how could you be scared of that?" Dacre said grabbing the sides of Joe's face

"Well, I mean he had a zombie mask on so that should do it" I said

"Ok Y/N we're sorry" they both came up and hugged me

"I forgive you" I said hugging them back

But, I don't actually think they felt bad because for the rest of the night they both chased me with the plastic spiders
