Lisa's POV
"how is she, dad?" I know he passed by the hospital to check my mother's condition .
My mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer two years ago and her condition is not good. A week after Rosie and Jisoo's wedding, she was rushed to the hospital and she has been confined there for a month.
I feel sorry for her, the suffering that has gone through is so severe that sometimes I'm getting to the point where I'm praying to God, to take her life when she sleeps because I don't want to see her suffer even more.
" Her condition is still the same." He said plainly.
"You need to rest dad, will watch over her." I replied, he patted me on the shoulder and he thanked me before going up to their room.
My father did not show any weakness in us, but I know that he is in pain and tired of seeing my mother's condition.
I was on my way when I noticed a bakeshop near the hospital and thought of buying some pastry for my mother.
I was greeted by the employees who were there when I got in and I just smiled in response.
I looked at the displays and I smiled when I saw mom's favorite lime cake.
"Do you have freshly baked lime cake?" I asked .
"Mrs. Kim, do we have a new baked lime yet?" an employee asked an old woman and I was surprised when Jennie's mom stood up.
"Lisa?" she mumbled my name, I don't know what to say so just gave her an awkward smile.
"oh my God, I miss you." she said as hugged me.
I was very close to Jennie's mom before, even though at first she was disappointed that her daughter had a relationship with a woman, she accepted me and considered me as her real daughter
" How are you?" she looked at my body as if she was looking for something. "Are you eating the right food on time? My god sweetheart, what happened to you? You've lost more weight and look at your eye bags, you look matured. Why did you neglect yourself ? It's a good thing and you're still beautiful and handsome until now." I couldn't help but giggle at what Jennie's mom was saying, she still hasn't changed even before she was telling me that she would accept me as her daughter because she said I was beautiful and handsome at the same time.
"I'm fine auntie, There are so many problems in our family that sometimes I forget to sleep and eat, but thank you and you still think of me as beautiful and handsome up until now, but I'm surprised that so many years have passed but you still look so young" I winked at her and received a playful slap from her.
"You're still such a sweet talker, if I didn't love Jennie's dad, I might have fallen in love with you." She rolled her eyes.
Now you know from whom Jennie inherited her rolling eyes. I giggled at the thought
"Anyway I just stopped by to buy a lime cake for my mom. I didn't know that you owned this shop."
"Oh, is that so, we have a newly baked . Jennie is just preparing." she replied.
The door from the pantry opens and it spits out Jennie. She is wearing a pink apron and it was tightly tied on her showing the curves of her body, while she was holding the freshly baked lime cakes.
I swallowed hard when I saw the two mountains, I mean the cake she was holding. Oh God! I don't understand why every time I see her, my attention immediately goes to her boobs like they are saying hi to me.
