Loid sat in his room reading a book, only the light of his lamp above his head aluminating the room giving it a yellow glow. He heard a faint knock on the door.

"Come in" he said taking his glasses off as his attention was averted over to the door. A soft smile came across his face as he saw his wife walk in, with her beautiful black hair down laying over her shoulders gently.

"Sorry to bother you I... just can't seem to fall asleep. I was wondering if maybe... I could stay the night here with you." She asked nervously, playing with her hair as she looked away a bit embarrassed.

Loid shut his book and set it down on his desk, standing up. He gave a smile. "Of course i don't mind one bit." He said sitting down on his bed.

Yor's smile brightened as she closed the door and made her way over to his bed. She placed her hand onto his sheets, memories from the night months ago flooded into her head as she couldn't help but remember the night fondly.

Loid looked over at her noticing her pause as she looked down onto the bedsheets, memories flooding back into his own mind from the night as well. He reached over and put his hand onto her's. "Maybe... maybe it's time we talk about what happened that night."

Yor blushed feeling the twos hand touch, as she looked up at Loid and nodded as she sat down next to him on the bed.

"That night... had nothing to do with the drinking. What happened that night was out of admiration that I have for you and I don't want you to just think it was because we were both drunk." Loid said even blushing a bit on his own at the mention of love.

Yor blushed more as she couldn't help but smile. "I agree... I-" she stopped as she put a hand on her stomach.

Loid began to panic, "oh no is everything ok? Is it something with the baby?-"

Yor took his hand and put it onto her stomach as she smiled over at him, "the baby is kicking!"

Loid's eyes sparkled as he kept his hand there, a moment later feeling it again kick right at his hand. A smile came across his face, "oh my god, that's the baby they kicked my hand!"

Yor couldn't help but giggle seeing how happy he had gotten over being able to feel the baby kick. They both kept their hands there for a bit longer, feeling the baby kick and taking in the moment together.

The two found each other gazing into the others eyes fondly, both at a loss of words just looking into each other's eyes.

"Loid... I wanna thank you... for everything. Being apart of this family is one of the best things that has ever happened to me," she gently placed both hands onto her stomach, "and being able to carry our baby... makes me so incredibly happy." She said as tears began to run down her face, her hormones in full swing.

Loid smiled gently over at his wife wrapping his arms around her and holding her close to his chest. "There there it's ok," he kissed the top of her forehead, "meeting you was one of the best things to ever happen to me. And I love you all, my family, so much. And I can't wait for our family to be complete."

Yor smiled as she had a bounce in her step, feeling complete in the fact that her prediction had been correct. Loid was right behind her smiling as the two walked out of the doctors office.

Yor stopped as she turned to her husband, "I cant believe I was right, we are having a boy!" She said excitedly as she put her hand onto her stomach.

Loid tilted his head a bit as he laughed softly, "I always knew you would be right, but still I'm excited to have it confirmed. I've always wanted a son."

"Miss Anya will be so excited, we'll have to tell her once she's home from school." Yor said as she had lit her hand and took Loid's hand into her own.

The two walked down the street holding hands. Everything seemed so peaceful.

As the two walked, birds chirped in the distance. The wind smoothly blowed in the wind. Everything seemed perfect.

Suddenly a gunshot was heard.

Loid was quickly brought back to reality as he quickly turned to his wife, glad to see she was ok. It came from the distance. He squeezed her hand. "Wait here, I'm gonna go make sure everything is ok."

He began to run away as Yor stopped him, "I'm coming too, me and the baby will be ok." Yor kept her hand on her stomach as she saw the hesitance in her husbands eyes. He gave a nod as he ran off to help, his wife right behind him.

They soon reached a scene of a political outbreak. A local group that was known for being against the government had just opened fire on one of the political figures in the area. From the looks of it no one was hurt. Loid worked fast as he quickly ran over to the person with the gun and got it away from them, pinning them down to the ground to make sure he couldn't get away.

Yor was close behind him, checking with the people who gathered around to make sure everyone was ok.

Soon enough the police came and detained the person who had fired the shots. The crowd had gone down as Yor and Loid made it to each other once more, holding hands as the two were just glad that they were both ok and so was everyone else.

"That was really brave of you Loid, I'm glad everyone is ok." Yor said relieved that her husband was ok.

Loid smiled down at his wife as he held her hand, "I'm just glad you and the baby are ok. I just try to help in any way I can."

Yor smiled happily, "You're such a good man Loid. Always standing up for others and making sure everyone is ok."

Loid kissed her cheek, "Thank you but I'm just a regular guy just trying to keep his family safe, including you."

The two leaned in and shared a quick kiss. As the two held hands and made their way back to the house to go see Anya.
