Brian's POV-
I knew they were abused. Not until after Tanya broke up with Reese, at least. It makes sense though...seeing as how the twins are the 'weakest' of the family. *cue the eye roll* I noticed her limping...and him rubbing his wrists from time to time, but I assumed they had gotten beat up at a fight or something. I need to get Tanya in jail for touching my siblings.
"What do you think we should do now? I'm scared, guys," Mike said. Mike? Scared?
"What are you scared of?" Reese asked Mike, hugging him. He had tears in his eyes.
"She just had a panic attack. She's helped us all through at least one...but to our knowledge she's never had one, right?" Mike pointed out. I nodded my head. Wait, how long has it been since she's had a panic attack?
"Do you think Alex knows when she last had a panic attack?" Reese asked. I scoffed. I was going to say that. Wait. Of course he knows! He knows her better than any of us.
"I bet you $500 that he does," Mike offered as we glared at him. We shook our heads in unison. We all knew he did.
"I'll get him," I said calmly. I walked quietly to Ari's room, to see them cuddling. She had fallen asleep in his arms, and he looked at her with so much love. I suddenly felt a twinge of jealousy. I
want that relationship with her.
I know I'll never get it though. She only goes to him for comfort. Only him. And the same goes for him. Only her.
"Alex? Can we talk?" I asked in a whisper. He nodded, he got up, kissed her forehead and left the room. He followed me downstairs as I studied him. He had a cold expression on his face again. Why does he always do that?! We're his flipping family!
"Alex, when was the last time Ari had a Panic Attack?" Reese asked with worry and concern,
lacing his voice. He narrowed his eyes.
"It's been about one or two years. Just seeing Tanya brings back her PTSD though. We'll have to distract her in the meantime," he explained. We all nodded in understanding.
"What did you have in mind? Only you know what she likes. We only know that she likes to bake, fight, and race," Mike said, making Alex chuckle.
"That's the only stuff she likes," he said in between his breaths. Our eyes widened. She doesn't have a secret hobby? If she does, Alex doesn't know about it?! Wow. Not saying she does, but just imagine.
"Let's bring her out tomorrow,” I offered, making the rest agree. Mike and Reese were hesitant, but they caved in after Alex threatened them.
Ariana's POV-
I rolled my eyes when I opened them. Gosh, that seems to be the only thing I do. I better work on my attitude.
Wait, I just said I needed to work on something. Nevermind that thought, I'm already perfect.
Shut up, you biscuit! You still have to improve!
Then we're a biscuit. You just called me a biscuit. We're the same person.
Shoot! You're right!
When am I not right?
The time you told me to trust Tanya.
I agree, when else?
…Touché.
I internally rolled my eyes. My mind is so weird.
"Oh! Ari, you're up!" Mike exclaimed coming into my room. He never does this. Oh no, what if they start treating me differently because I had a panic attack?
