[Y/N] now stood in a generally bare-bones bedroom, something that he was used to, he had had a simple sleeping quarters for the last few years, even before he was put under. Included in this room as an attached bathroom, which [Y/N] did appreciate. Once he had entered into his room, gaining some sense of privacy from the stresses he had been going through for the last few hours with the Overwatch higher-ups, namely Jack Morrison and Ana Amari.
After the meeting, Morrison and Amari went about informing me of many things that I might now know, lots of information about the principles and goals of Overwatch, their places in protecting the world and the responsibility that one has on their shoulders when they carry around the Overwatch insignia. Essentially, they were telling him to not do bad things when working for Overwatch because it would have negative effects on the organisation as a whole.
Ana took a more parental role throughout the discussion, after finding out how young the monster was in comparison to what she previously thought, she was much more open and empathetic, something that [Y/N] was grateful for. Morrison was a different story, very strict and business focused, making sure it was clear as to what would be expected of him as a part of the Overwatch organisation.
While it was somewhat long winded, it was important that both parties got a grounding on where they stood with each other and built a level of rapport between the three. After the lecture from the two, [Y/N] was informed as to where he would be staying, while also providing a pair of new clothes so that he could change back into his 'base form'. By this point it was getting somewhat late, so it was settled that no-more would be discussed today, however, tomorrow would be a-lot, including gauging [Y/N]'s strength and they would begin the process of making [Y/N] an official member of Overwatch.
An interesting interaction was had after [Y/N] had spoken to Ana and Jack. Thanking them for their help, they all parted ways and [Y/N] began the journey to his sleeping quarters, however, on the way, through sheer coincidence, he happened to come face-to-face with Angela. However, the young woman had a much different approach to most the people who had crossed [Y/N] in the hallways, rather then glaring, with awful looks and making rude remarks, which didn't bother [Y/N] all that much, the only thing Angela gave [Y/N] was a large and bright smile.
Angela tried to make small talk with the large monster, but due to [Y/N]'s utter lack of social cues, he didn't engage at all, only making brief comments, 'yes', 'no', and so on. But the experience was somewhat comforting for the young adult, being able to interact with someone his age. In the end, Angela essentially ended by suggesting that [Y/N] could come to them with any issues at any time, that she was happy to help, which was certainly helpful and appreciated.
While the whole encounter was somewhat awkward, Ziegler embarrassed and blushing for large parts, it was hard for [Y/N] to deny that he was starting to grow somewhat attached to Angela, at least, far more than he had any other person over the last few years. Her positivity and helpful nature very much left an imprint upon [Y/N], and they left each other with high seemingly high regards.
However, now that he was in his room, by himself, the real struggle began, as he now had to turn back into his 'base form'. Yet, he was really concerned that something would go bad, that perhaps his form didn't work or that he couldn't withstand the 'Doomsday' forms' strength any longer. Completely unfounded fears, but they did make [Y/N] anxious. Yet, [Y/N] came to the conclusion that, in reality, he wasn't scared about the transformation process but the idea that he would be vulnerable outside of his 'Doomsday' form. While he had some combat training, he was not invulnerable without his alternate form, which had been his norm for the past few years.
After a while of preparation and biting the bullet, [Y/N] went through with it, beginning the short process of reverting back into his human form, and... absolutely nothing horrendously awful happened - it had worked as it had always worked, and he really had no reason to fear.
