====================
The large truck barrelled across the sandy dunes, its large trailer swaying back and forth behind, causing those sitting in the rear to jump about frequently, thrown from their seat multiple times, but the kids seemed to enjoy it, including Bizarro and Lobo. [Y/N] couldn't help but feel as if he were just some babysitter for all the weird hitchhikers he picks up along his travels, but at least they provided some good company, when they weren't doing stupid things, which wasn't often. Who was he to complain, now unable to remember all the death-defying, but ultimately, suicidal missions he went on, the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Stone sat in the driver's seat, his expression taking on a lighter tone for the remainder of the journey, a stupid joy that irked the Doomsday slightly, nothing had been sorted out yet, but perhaps that's all they wanted, hope for things to get better.
Within the back container, Lobo's gruff voice shouted forwards, "Why isn't the old guy here boss?" Before the truck hit another hill, lifting the vehicle off the ground for a moment, the biker groaned, Bizarro giggling to himself. "I needed someone I trusted to watch Harry while I was gone, and with a sensible head on their shoulders. My options were quite limited, but after thinking long and hard, I remembered the rest of you are idiots." [Y/N] joked, yet his stern voice didn't convey the humour well. "Bizarro have good head on Bizarro's shoulders!" the clone said, holding the sides of his skull with both hands, anxious, the biker chuckling at the man. "Sure thing you big baby..." Lobo teased the man, the clone pouting at the man. [Y/N] quickly remembered back, leaving Harry and Ray behind, but he trusted the man, knowing he was safe in the pilot's capable arms, and the guarantee of Perth's protection, perhaps his focus could be shifted elsewhere for the time being.
The dunes shifted over time, changing from rough and hilly, levelling out as they drove into the woodland, thin trees dotting the surroundings, a pleasant shift from the bare, infinite sands. The other vehicles that made up the convoy slowly began trickling off, smaller cars and motorcycles peeling off as figures could be seen up ahead, more Junkers [Y/N] assumed, further in the distance, large wooden walls could be spotted, metallic sheets grafted onto the outsides. Nearing the defences, two large gates slowly opened inwards, allowing the truck to enter the fort, many more Junkers appearing within, each with a distinct look to them, but all shared a similar mad gleam in their gaze. Stone quickly brought the truck to a halt, a cloud of sand and dust obscured the front-hood, masking the person inside, as more gathered around joining the crowd, anxious to get a look at the Yowie.
Stone exited first, slamming his door open, climbing down the rickety steps, jumping down, striking a dramatic pose, "MY JUNKERS, IT IS WITH THE GREATEST HONOUR THAT I MAY PRESENT TO YOU ALL TODAY, THE YOWIE!" he announced, shouting out loud towards the crowd. Screams and cheers erupted from the Junkers as the passenger-side door opened, [Y/N] appearing from out the front of the vehicle, getting a good look at his surroundings, overlooking the crowd. People moved closer to the Doomsday, some questioned, "Is that him?" or "Is that really the Yowie?", it was a fair question, this mythical figure that they imagined had been built up in their heads for years at this point, they would have high expectations.
When the dishevelled giant exited the truck, letting out a small sigh to himself, he was unprepared for a projectile to collide with his face, exploding upon impact, the blast painfully-loud, black smoke surrounding the man. Some within the crowd began to panic, a ruckus emanating from within the trailer, Bizarro and Lobo bursting out, unsure as to what had happened. One of the Junkers stepped forward, with slicked-back flame-like locks and a hand-crafted grenade launcher in hand, shaking in anticipation, "HOW DARE YOU TRY AND PASS THIS PHONEY UP AS THE MIGHTY YOWIE!" he roared towards Stone, more within the crowd gaining a sceptical expression. It almost seemed too much to believe that their hero would just appear in their time of need.
