Nandini's pov

I woke up feeling so good, I was wrapped in warmth, wait how am I even be warm, I sleep on the floor. Wait the floor is never this soft. my eyes snapped open when I jumped up.

"Are you okay" I heard manik who I woke up by accident

"Umm ya" I said realizing what we talked about yesterday night

"Nandini" his voice was husky

"Sorry, I woke you up by accident" I mumbled

"All good" he said turning on his stomach

"Kaha ja rah ho" he asked when I stood up

"Shower" he nodded closing his eyes again

I headed in the shower but when I came out Manik was up for some reason, he usually doesn't wake up early but today he was up

I wanted to ask why but I couldn't because I didn't want him to be upset at me intruding his privacy or whatever you know

"Get ready" he said

"I am" I said

"Not in pyjamas, put on clothes for outside"

"Why outside" I asked

"You are coming with me"

"Where"

"That's a lot of questions wifey, put on casual clothes and be ready by the time I'm out of the shower" he said walking in the bathroom

I was so confused but I got ready anyways in a creamish white anarkali suit, white just made my chuda pop and it loved it.

I got ready and was about to go downstairs but Manik's voice stopped me

"Nandini we can get breakfast outside, you don't need to cook" he said

"But"

"No"

"But Manik"

"But nandini" he teased making me glare at him

"Aww im so so scared nandini"

I rolled my eyes at him making him raise an eye brow as he moved towards me.

I stepped back with every step he took until I was caged between him and the dresser. I felt his warm minty breath against my face making me close my eyes.

His presence enough was enough to make me shudder but this closeness was making me feel a lot of things. It's umm, the blood was rushing to my cheeks and ears, I could feel it.

"Look up" he said and I just continued staring at my feet cause apparently it looked ingesting

He tilted my chin up using his hands, as soon as his eyes met mine, I saw his eyes darken a bit, it wasn't scary it was kinda fasinating

"Your eyes" I mumbled

"What about them" he asked huskily

"They umm they change colours" I said and saw them lighten a little

"How"

"I don't know, they just lightened" I said

He just looked at me with a lot of emotions in his eyes but I couldn't understand them which was weird.

"Go put on your shoes" he said moving back

I took a deep breath I didn't know I was holding, I closed my eyes taking a few more breaths and then put on my sandals

"Come on" he said

I followed him downstairs, and out to his car. It was the first time I was seeing his car, it was this black sports car version thing idk man. It looked very very nice and expensive.
