Epilogue

5 years later

It has been a long time since our last fight well 5 years and some time to be exact and life has been so good. Manik and I have gotten so much closer not just physically but emotionally.

Every time there is something that annoys us which trust me is a lot, we talk through it sitting together.

Like this one time I was really moody so I was so rude to Manik but he being the sweetheart he is he picked me up and sat me down in his lap and calmed me down

Or like this other time work was super hectic for Manik and he raised his voice at me when I asked him to eat instead of letting him work

These small arguments are always happening, Manik and I bicker so much that everyone calls us a old married couple which isn't false I guess.

Currently I am sitting in the kitchen floor with a bowl of actually no lets be honest the ice tub in my hands I was too lazy to grab a bowl.

"Jaan" I heard manik

"In the kitchen" I replied

I looked up to find him standing there with his hands on his hips glaring at me

"What are you doing here mrs Malhotra" he asked

"Ice cream" I told him

"And what time is it" he asked

I peaked at the time and bit my bit chewing on it softly

"I asked you something"

"Manik"

"Mrs Malhotra these days you seem to be getting on my nerves every single day" he said

"Yes but it's not that late"

"It's 12:32 am"

"But you have a day off na tom"

"I do but that has nothing to do with why you are having ice cream that too sitting on the floor at 12 in the morning"

"I was hungry" I told him and he forwarded his hand

I took his hand getting up and he grabbed the ice cream tub from me

"This was full this morning and now it's almost empty" he said

"That's what happens when you eat the ice cream" I said

"You know the doctor has said not to eat too much cold stuff you will get sick but no tum Sunti ni ho our phir kahogi mai chila raha hu" he siad putting the ice cream away

i looked down as tears formed in my eyes

"Shh im sorry okay im sorry" he whispered kissing my head

"You are so mean" I whispered

He picked me up making me snuggle in his chest

"I thought I am mean" he said walking up to our room

"You are"

"Jaan you know your health is important"

"Yes but ice cream is yummy, I was craving some" I said

"Yes it is and I get that you were craving some but baby you can have some in the morning na, having so much at night can cause you to get sick"

"I know" I siad

"Hey please don't be sad"

"Apnai gussy kia"

"No jaan maine kap gussa kia" he asked

I pouted looking up at him and he smiled at me.

"Apnai kaha I am getting on your nerves"
