Sasuke's Birthday

SHIORI'S POV
Ino and I are chatting over the phone when she suddenly mentions a certain topic

"Oh and did you know, Sasuke's birthday is coming up"

"Oh really? When?" I ask curiously

"It's on July 23rd, basically on Saturday" Ino answers

"Oh, what a coincidence, we're only a month apart" I say

"Yeah, your birthday is on the 23rd as well"

"Sasuke never mentioned to me that his birthday is coming near. It's already July 17th" I pout

"Sasuke never really liked having a grand celebration for his birthday. He just spends his birthdays hanging out with Naruto and the guys"

"Really? He and I really are polar opposites"

"Couldn't be more true. You love having extravagant birthday parties" Ino laughs

I giggle at this

"Oh, I should get Sasuke a present"

"That's so sweet of you. What are you gonna get him?"

"Hm. I'm not sure yet. I haven't known him that long, so I'm drawing a blank"

'Sasuke, like me, is rich and can buy whatever he wants. And I want to get him something unique and made specially for him....wait! That's it!'

"I have to go. Farewell and have a good night Ino!" I say

"Wait wha--" before Ino could finish, I end the call out of my excitement

I make my way to my desk and take out a pen and paper

'I'll write him a song, a song just for him'

SASUKE'S POV
Monday, July 18th, lunch time. I'm at the roof with Naruto and the guys since Shiori called early in the morning saying she's busy with work and won't be coming to school today

"Then why don't we go to the newly opened amusement park this Saturday?" Choji suggest

"Are you dumb? Saturday is Sasuke's birthday! Believe it!" Naruto says

'Hn. So it's almost my birthday again huh?'

I never really care much for my birthday, to me it's just the same as any other day

"I know. Don't we usually go somewhere during his birthday? So why don't we go to the amusement park this year?" Choji says

"Sasuke and Shiori have been in a long distance relationship right?" Shikamaru says boredly

"Yeah! Sasuke will want time to spend with Shiori for his birthday! Believe it! Right Sasuke?"

"Uh, yeah" I nod

'Oh right, I forgot. With my situation with Shiori, days like birthdays will have to involve eachother. I don't think I even told her when's my birthday, so she might not know. Well I don't know her when her birthday is either'

"So what are your plans?" Shino asks

"We're still deciding" I answer

"I'm sooo jealous of you Sasuke! Spending your birthday with Konoha's super adorable princess, Shiori!" Kiba groans

"Move on" I say as I eat my lunch

"Easy for you to say!" Kiba sighs

"Why don't you at least tell her you like her?" Naruto suggests, my hands stopped
