Rhaena's Pov The Sun rays were in my eyes, I couldn't sleep because today was the day that I would officially become Aemonds wife. I would no longer be know as Rhaena Velearyon, I would be known as Rhaena Targaryen the Wife to Aemond Targaryen it's felt as if my identity was being stripped from me .
" Your highness it's time" I heard my head servant say, she was new and i didn't know if she could be trusted her name was Anneliese Rivers she was one of Lyonel Strong bastards. She was put in my care by my mother who thought that she and I would get along seeing as we had some similarities. She was a bit older then me I would guess 2 years , She had dark black hair and dark black eyes which reminded me of a shadow, She was very beautiful in my opinion. My mother wanted me to have loyal people with me before the Queen could plot her snakes and in my ladies in waiting. She helped me get out of bed and told the servants to start my bath .
I sat in the bath and told them to leave us alone I then spoke and asked
" I hope that as the years go on you will be my true friend Anneliese,Those are hard to find in court" Annalise looked at me and said
" My loyalty shall be with you your highness," I sighed and said
" I do hope so Anneliese" We sat in a comfortable silence until I got out of the bath and told the other servants to come. They rushed into my chambers with my dress . Anneliese styled my hair in a updo she added blue gems into it as well which made my hair look magnificent. She handed me the blue earrings that matched with my dress and handed me the blue necklace.
" You're gifted Anneliese" i said as I observed myself in the mirror, I looked very beautiful, I looked like a goddess . Anneliese only smiled and blushed at the compliment . We then went to my dress and put it on it was a bit of a struggle but the end results were beautiful my dress was blue it reminded me of the ocean it had small diamonds on it which glimmered in the the light the sleeves were long and on the shoulders it was shaped like a flower it had diamonds on it as well the from of dress , My corset was just pure lace my dress train was a little long but not too long . As I stood observing myself my mother and my brother Jace walked in .
" You look beautiful Rhaena" My brother said first I turned and looked towards my mother who had tears coming down her face she then spoke and said
" You look gorgeous Rhaena, Laenor would've loved to see you like this." She said as she cried I went over to my mother and gave her a hug and said
" I know mother" I then looked up at her and started to wipe her tears away and said
" Now, Now let us not spoil the wedding day with tears." I smiled when I said this we heard a knock on my chambers doors
" Enter" A kings guard walked in and said
" It's time your grace" I nodded my head and left my chambers .
End of Rhaena's pov Rhaena made her way to the sept in the carriage throughout the whole ride she held onto her mothers hand , the people cheered as her carriage went by they threw blue flowers at it . they arrived at the sept Rhaena's Mother had to leave her to join the crowd which left her with her elder brother Jace as they walked into the sept she held onto him even tighter they made it to the top were Aemond stood waiting for her on the side of him Stood Aegon, Helaena, Alicent and Viserys on Rhaena's side stood Rhaenys, Rhaenyra, Daemon, Baela, Rhaena ,Jace & Luke .
" You may now cloak the bride" Rhaena turned around and let Aemond remove the cloak she was wearing which had the sigil of house Velaryon and gave it to Jace and replaced it with the cloak that had the sigil of House Targaryen. Rhaena turned around and faced the septon
" we come here in the eyes of the 7 to join to souls into one . Father , Mother, Warrior, smith,maiden, crone and stranger. Hear now their vowes"
Aemond spoke first
" I am yours and you are mine, for whatever may come until the end of my days" It was now Rhaena's turn she was hesitant she looked at her family who stood next to her and then looked at her Grandsire who had a big smile on his face she then spoke
" I am yours and you are mine, for whatever may come until the end of my days" Rhaena said as she looked at Aemond .
" Here in the eyes of gods and men I proclaim Aemond of House Targaryen and Rhaena of House Velaryon man and wife. one flesh , one heart , one soul now and forever , you may now kiss the bride" Aemond leaned in to kiss Rhaena it was a long and slow one Rhaena had to nudge Aemond Away to make him stop . They held hands and started to make their way out of the sept the people cheered because their precious princess was married. Rhaena Was no longer Rhaena Velaryon daughter of The heir princess Rhaenyra she was now Rhaena Targaryen wife of Aemond Targaryen.
Rhaena and Aemond entered the room where the feast was being held they sat at the long table where Rhaenas family sat , Her and Aemond sat on the left side of the king.She smiled toward Aemond when he pull her seat out for her . Rhaena saw her grandsire give her a smile
A/N: Rhaena and Aemond are now officially married, I won't write their Valyrian wedding but you guys already know how that goes there kids are gonna be so cute . I also want to let you guys know that this is 2 years before the dance of dragons to let everyone know Rhaenyra isn't pregnant with her last baby yet . We met Anneliese she's gonna be Rhaena's best friend, she sisters with Alys who we will we later on .
