The feast went on as usual Rhaena received congratulations from other lords who were bummed that they missed the opportunity to marry Rhaena. Rhaena was currently sitting picking at her fingernails as the night got darker she knew what was to come next after all of this The bedding ceremony she had forgotten all about it all she knows is that the Queen would be there , Otto , A Maestor , her mother and Daemon she found it rather odd that they wanted that many people to Witness it , her mother told her that it was the Queens idea her mother tried to protest but the other lords started to agree with the Queen they wanted to make sure that their marriage were valid . Rhaena stopped picking her nails when she felt Aemond grab her hand and kiss it .
" Dont pick at you nails Rhaena , if your nervous you can squeeze my hand instead." Aemond whispered to her , Rhaena smiled at him and looked at the feast , her grandsire then announced
" It's now time for the first dance of the bride and groom." Everyone cheered as Rhaena and Aemond got up, They started to dance Aemond was telling Rhaena a joke which made her laugh . Rhaenyra looked at them with a smile on her face she heard daemon whisper to her
" oddly enough they make a good couple" Rhaenyra nodded her heads at this , Rhaena and Aemond would be a couple that would be written in history for years . Jacerys then went up to them and asked if he could have a dance with her Aemond agreed and gave Rhaena to Jace
" Brother" Rhaena said with a smile

" I want you to know that if you ever need help Baela and I will be there for you , You can always come to dragon stone if you ever want to leave court life" Rhaena smiled when he said this she knew that after her wedding and everything is settled in Jace and Baela would be married in Dragonstone her family would have to leave she was kind of saddened at that
" I know Jace , I'm gonna miss you all terribly" Rhaena said as she hugged her brother in the middle of their dance she knew that she probably wouldn't see them for a long time .

" It's time for the Bedding ceremony" Ser Otto said Rhaena hugged Jace tighter she then left his embrace and went towards Anneliese and her mother who lead her to her new chambers Anneliese and some other servents came and undress her and gave her a white gown ,. Rhaenyra asked the servant girls to leave all except Anneliese.
" Will it hurt mother? Rhaena asked her mother Rhaenyra looked at her only daughter with guilt and then spoke
" it will hurt at first but then it would start to feel nice" Rhaenyra said to Rhaena who nodded her head
" I'm sorry Rhaena , I've disappointed you I made a promise to myself when you were born that you wouldn't have to go through this and now those Fucking greens pushed us in the corner and have made me give you up" Rhaena looked at her mother who looked like she was about to cry Rhaena looked at her mother and shook her head she grabbed her mother and gave her a tight hug she told her mother
" You have not disappointed me mother, You could never and plus I already saw this coming the greens always find a way to make our lives a living hell" Rhaenyra chuckled a little when her daughter said the last just then The Queen entered with Everyone else she then sat in a chair and said
" it's time" Aemond was just behind her , he walked up to Rhaena and then spoke loudly to the people in the room
" There is no need for you all , You may comeback in the next morning to inspect if we've consummated our marriage" Rhaenyra was so relieved when Aemond said this she didn't want the people of the concil gawking at her daughter like she was some piece of meat
" But" Alicent tried to protest
" No mother I will have no other man looking at my wife's body but me" Aemond told his mother with a glare Alicent understood and told everyone that the concil isn't needed she will have a servant come into their chambers the next morning to inspect if the marriage was consummated. Now it was only Aemond and Rhaena in the room
" I know that you may despise me for this , But I hope as the years go on you will learn to love me just as I've loved you for years Rhaena" Aemond said looking into Rhaena's eyes . Rhaena breath was caught in her throat
" I promise to protect you from anyone who wishes you harm on you Rhaena, Even if it's Aegon" Rhaena looked away when he said this she never knew how to react to confessions they weren't always her strong suit
" but Rhaena you must understand that I've always loved you , My heart only longed for you I tried to convince myself then that I didn't but it seems fate will not have me lie to myself anymore" Aemond said as he got closer to her
" I love you Rhaena and you are mine until the end of my days . My heart shall long for no one but you." Aemond said with determination he wanted his point to be clear he turned to walk out of the room but Rhaena grabbed his arm and turned him to face her she grabbed his face and brought him into a long kiss she didn't know why she didn't respond she didn't understand the feelings she felt . Her heart was beating like it longed for Aemond her Skin yearned for his touch. She never fully understood the concept of love but now in this very moment she does. She finally broke the kiss and looked up to Aemond and said
" my heart yearns for you too, you're the only person who has ever made me feel this way I don't fully understand them but I'm going to assume this is love" Rhaena said to Aemond he smiled a little bit and kissed her deeply and lead her towards the bed. He reached for his dagger and cut in his palm and passed the blade to Rhaena she cut into her palm she cut his lips just as he did hers.

" But I want to Aemond" Aemond looked at Rhaena with a shocked expression but then quickly kissed her again and lead her towards the bed .
