sergeant voight's pov

"you jay and erin you guys go behind the mirror alright adam come with me" they nodded i took some water for the kid and coffee for me and adam and we went to him

and saw him staring in the mirror me and adam sat in front of him and i gave him the water "so kid do you maybe now want to tell us your name" i asked and he took the water and drank from it and then he asked "who's behind the mirror" i look at adam and he says "finally talking i see" the kid rolled his eyes

"i asked you something" he said i bite my tongue and say "yeah well i asked you something too" adam placed photos i took when they we're dealing and adam said "do you know these guys and where do they live" the boy just shook his head but we knew he was lying

"we dont believe you tell the truth." i said sternly but he didnt bother and drank his water i looked at adam and shook my head and we got up "we'll be right back" i said and we went out of the room and jay and erin also walked out

"he just won't bug dude" adam said and he sat down and ran his hand through his hair "i'll try" jay said and i looked at him with a warning look he said "i wont do anything alright just talk" i sigh "should i come?" erin asked and jay shook his head

"no in a strange way i think i know this boy" he said and we all looked at him confused he just shrugged and took the map with the photos and went to the room as we go behind the mirror

jugs pov

dont tell them jug whatever happens think about how sweet his family is and how i cant take theyre happiness away my thoughts got cut off when somebody walked in the room

jay halstead

great just what i needed my brother who probably doesn't know me scoreee he sat down in front of me "hey im officer halstead whats your name" he said i might as well lie right "brendon smith.." jay smiled and he nodded and took out the photos and placed them on the table

"do you know these two guys?" he asked and i play with my fingers nervously "hey its okay you can tell me we just want to have a talk with them" jay said and i just say "i know them but i wont say theyre name." jay sighed and said "okay fine but you'll have to tell us or you'll be here for a long long time kid"

i groan and rub my hand over my face and jay stands up "knock on the door when ur ready to tell the truth." he said and he leaves

officer haltsteads pov

i walk out of the room and so did sergeant voight.adam.erin i sit down in my chair and adam says "uhm guys the name brendon smith doesnt exists" we look at each other and got up and walked to his computer and hes right it doesnt exists

i roll my eyes "how are we gonna get that kid to talk and tell the truth "i said annoyed adam smiled and said "i think i've got an idea" we looked at him with a raised eyebrow and he got up and walked in the room and we just sighed and went back behind the mirror

officer Ruzek's pov

i went in the room and sat in front of the kid "hey there" i said softly he just nodded and doesn't look me in the eyes "wanna tell me how you got those cool scars?" i asked and the kid looked at me and just shrugged "i really want to know how you got them they look cool i'm a good listener' i said

i saw the boy smile a little yas i think my plan is working he started telling the story what happened and i listened to be honest it was kinda cool but yeah "okay look i know you don't trust us but we really want to help you do you have a family here maybe?" i asked and te kid nodded "okay can you tell me or not?" i asked the kid sat up more

and he sighs and says "i h-have two brothers here in Chicago" i nodded and said "can i know theyre name or not" the kid bit his lip anxiously and he said "ill say two things a-about them" i nodded and kept on listening

"uhm o-one is a cop and the other one is a d-docter" he said stuttering it kinda surprised me that they did that as job "okay so you mean one off your brothers is here" i said and the kid nodded "okay can i have the first letter of theyre name and last name?" i asked

"uhm J is the first letter and H the last name letter" he said and i nodded and got up and walked out of the room and the others also walked out "wow that was smart" erin said and i nodded

"okay now who here has another brother that is a docter and the letters J and H" i said and i looked at jay "what me?" he asked and i nodded with a duh face "maybe thats why hes so familiar to you?" i said obviously jay his eyes go wide open and he walks in the room and we go behind the mirror again

officer halstead's pov

i walked back in the room and saw the kid looking at me "jug?" i asked and he started tearing up "Jay i-im sorry" he said and i hugged him tightly "oh jug i missed you so much" i said and jug sobbed and said "y-your not mad?"

"oh yes i am but enjoy the moment now" i said and we just kept hugging for a while
