"Ira! Come eat!" Phil yelled up the stairs into the directions of my room

"Coming father!" I slipped on my baggy jeans, and a white crop top with a black long sleeve under shirt. I put on the old sneakers that I found in the snow and ran downstairs to the table

"If your going out your going to wear a jacket" father ((phil)) says as I nod and start eating as techno came in from outside and kicked off his boots and cape

"Morning dad" I say as I shove more food into my mouth

"Morning kid"techno walked up to my a ruffled my hair then sat down next to be as Phil handed him a plate full of food

"Today I was wondering if I could go exploring" I say quiter them my usual voice

"Where to" Phil asks as he sits down next to techno and starts eating as well

"Into the woods, I'll be safe and wear my mask and-" I start to say

"Sure" techno cuts in as he eats his food

"Really?"

"Your old enough to explore, we trust you not to give our location away" Phil adds as he smiles to me

"Thanks" I quickly finish my food and run upstairs and grab a cow mask that Phil and techno made me and tied it in the back

I ran downstairs nearly tripping over the last step and put on my jacket, the one I had since I was 7 but I did add stuff to the sleeves and bottom so now when I walk in snow it covers up my foot prints half way

"Your already set to go?" Techno says

"Yep" I say as techno walks behind me and brushes my hair gently as he can and braids it

"Be safe, don' talk to anyone, don't look at anyone, stay away from l'manburg, and don't tell anyone where we are" techno lists off

"I'm aware of the rules" I say as techno look at me in the eyes

"Be careful ok and come back before night" techno says as he walks off

"I will" I walk towards the door and switch my sneakers for my boots

"I'm leaving!" I yell as i run outside closing the door behind me and into the woods

I grab a spare lantern on my way

Once I reached the woods I start to walk and enjoy the looks of the tree

I kept walking as I heard a foot step out of my pattern

I turn around to see a line of footprints

I looked at it and it lead to behind a tree

Who could have reacted that fast?

Was it an animal

I set the lantern down as quite as I can and pull out Phil's old bow and load it holding it to the tree
