But, once again, the heavy doors made a loud sound, and from the faces of everyone present, it was obvious that no one expected to see the person walking down the aisle, making her way to the dais.

"Sorry I'm late, but there's still time before we start lopping off heads, isn't there?"  A cynicism that only Chou Tzuyu could afford

"Chou Tzuyu you have been requested for a long time and you did not come on time, that is a reason for sanction, for which-"

"Yes, yes, but I'm here, right?"  Tzuyu asked mockingly "Anyway, if I'm not wrong you were about to execute the human, right?" The black-haired woman said walking towards Y/n, she took the papers from her hand and looking at the one with her signature, she let out a laugh "The wrong sister, I'm afraid..." And without further ado, she tore up the papers

Myoui Dogwook had never been so angry, Tzuyu had ruined his plans in a matter of seconds

"What would you do if I told you that there is a very good reason to let her live... without marriages involved" Tzuyu said looking at the chubby judge

"I hear you..." Shindong said wrinkling his nose.

"I'm afraid I must ask everyone to leave the room, except for the council, and you, of course" Tzuyu said playing with the pieces of paper in her hand

Shindong seemed to think about it for a moment, then decided that Tzuyu must have some very important information, so he asked everyone to leave, except for the council members.

"You too, father" Tzuyu said when she saw that her father did not move

"I am a member in the absence of the director of Dark Academy" Dogwood answered trying to remain calm

"I trust the council members because they took a vow of confidentiality by joining the court, and you being a temporary member didn't take any vows, so if you don't mind…" Dogwook glared at Tzuyu, as he walked away

Y/n counted exactly 54 minutes and 47 seconds before she was called to the court, alone. Upon entering, she could feel everyone's eyes on her, it was a cold and disbelieving look, except for Tzuyu and Taeyeon, who remained expressionless, as always.

"Kim Y/n, your life has been given to you, make sure you live it profitably" Shindong said quietly "The session is adjourned" And then he just hit the small hammer and quickly left

Yeh Minho was the first to walk past her, gave her a light squeeze on the shoulder and whispered to her to stay away from the supernatural world.

Later, Lee SeungRi walked past her "Even if you were saved today, you have a life sentence, human" He said with a cynical smile showing his fangs

The Jung sisters went ahead without even looking at her, leaving only three people in the court Tzuyu, Y/n and Taeyeon, the witch approached her "Come with me to the gardens" Taeyeon had a soft but authoritative voice, so there was no chance to protest, within minutes Y/n was walking through the court gardens with the witch.

"Do you know why they let you live?"  Taeyeon asked

"I don't know, maybe Tzuyu made up some lie, she's an expert at it" Y/n said nonchalantly

"She told no lies this time"

"What did she tell to you?"

Taeyeon didn't respond immediately, instead she stopped walking and showed Y/n her palm, it had a small black dot "The information Tzuyu gave us is so important that it would change the supernatural world as we know it, to prevent that information from reaching more people we made a blood pact" Taeyeon said "It is no coincidence that you have ended up involved in a revolt of species, just as it is no coincidence that Myoui Dogwook is interested in ensuring that you stay alive" Taeyeon told her in a stern tone
