As night fell Shelby sat at the stump of a old oak tree waiting patiently for...someone. Her mind wandered, thinking how she would tell her what is she says no!? It will be so embarrassing! she felt her cheeks warm but her thoughts where interrupted by a small rustling noise from behind. She stood up and whirled around only to see the girl she had been waiting for... Katherine she was so beautiful, so eloquent, her cheeks burned as the fairy walked over and asked
"what did you want to tell me?"
She asked curiously
"O Oh! Um well I eh just wanted-"
dang it why couldn't she concentrate around her! Katherine tilted her head a bit, even more curious that before shelby picked her self together (somehow) and said:
"Well I just wanted to say that...I um l like you..."
She fell silent and looked down waiting to be rejected, to be hurt again but Katherine said
"M me to..."
Her heart fluttered and her cheeks burned like the sun on a hot summers day. She looked up to see Katherine blushing nearly as much as herself, smiling sheepishly
"Y you do?..."
Katherine looked at her so sweetly she nearly expected it to be a prank but she said
"Well yeah...I have for a while actually.."
They looked at each other the bright moon danced in Katherine's eyes but before they could do anything they heard a noice from behind her. A noice she sadly knew very well the noice of xornoths evil cackle...
