CW for this oneshot includes: Panic attack
---
Everything felt as if it was getting harder every day. The stress of never having a normal day was really weighing him down and the recurring nightmare of his boyfriend
losing his arm was too much. It felt awful, and Kevin hated it. Nothing he did could calm him down and he dreaded waking up OR falling asleep and encountering things he
wasn't strong enough to handle. The day zipped by and before he knew it he was home, opening the door and seeing the only person that really made waking up worth it,
Streber. Streber heard the door and stopped what he was doing to wrap Kevin in a hug.
"Hi candy man! How was work?" Streber was cheerful. Kevin on the other hand was not.
"Work like always," Kevin hugged gently. Streber had a feeling something was off and couldn't shake the feeling.
"Hey, Kevin. Is everything alright?" Streber had a hint of concern in his voice.
"Of course, Strebs. Work is just tiring me out more, nothing to worry about," Kevin smiled faintly, "I'm gonna go to our room, alright dear?" Kevin didn't wait for an
answer before he slowly walked off to their room, closing the door behind him. Streber felt like he couldn't leave Kevin alone and walked over to the door, listening.

One tear fell, then another. Kevin was sitting down at the foot of the bed finally letting his emotions go. He had held it all in for so long and it felt odd to actually
show emotion for once that wasn't a stone-cold face or a happy salesman.
"God, I'm so pathetic," Kevin chuckled to himself, "can't even handle a few bad days. I even lied to Streber, I'm a terrible person," he wiped a few tears away and buried
his face into his knees while quiet stifled sobs escaped. It felt so out of character to be so upset but he couldn't help it, so much emotion had been bottled up over
many consecutive days that it all exploded at once. It was overwhelming.

A knock came from the door.

"Kevin? I'm coming in," The door opened and Streber looked at his boyfriend who made no attempt to look up.
"Oh, Kevin honey.." Streber walked over and sat with Kevin who still didn't look up, "Honey what's going on?"
Kevin still didn't look up, but it was evident he was crying. Streber wrapped him into a gentle hug whilst playing with his soft hair.
"I'm.. I'm sorry," Kevin wiped some tears away on his now tear-stained sleeves, "For lying.." He looked up, but his eyes did not face Streber. His eyes were red and puffy
from crying.
"No, no dear. It's okay, let it out, I'm here for you always," Streber spoke in a gentle tone that broke Kevin completely. He clung onto Streber and cried. Kevin cried
like nobody had ever seen. Streber sat there listening to all of Kevin's worries while softly playing with his messy hair.
"It's awful.. every night. You die and I can never.. help," Kevin sighed and wiped more tears away, feeling calmed by Streber messing with his hair.
"Dear, I'm not going anywhere. I will always be by your side whenever I can be, I love you so much," Streber kissed Kevin's forehead, "Nothing will convince me otherwise
to not love you. I love you to the moon and back," Streber spoke in a gentle voice, as if Kevin could be broken with the wrong tone. He smiled
"Thanks, Strebs, you always know how to calm me down so easily," Kevin's voice was still shaky and a tad cracked, but he felt better knowing Streber understood what was
going on and wasn't upset in the slightest. Streber continued to mess with Kevin's hair, it was soft.
"My little candy boy, tomorrow take the day of work. Then you and I will go out and have fun, you deserve it. You've been through so much. So just the two of us, tomorrow lets
have a nice day together?"
"Yeah, yeah that sounds nice," Kevin wiped away any remaining tears, "Let's do it,"
Streber smiled, "If you ever feel like this again, don't be afraid to tell me, dear. I will always listen to your troubles," he smiled, "Now.. how about we do something
to ease your mind? Let's go for a walk?"
"Sure, that sounds nice, let's do it."
