"Hey y/n who are you going to the dance with this Friday?" Tatum asked as you all sat around the water fountain eating you're lunch "I don't think I'm going to the dance" you said "Why not?everyone's going" stu asked looking down at you and you shrugged

"They're probably just gonna watch horror movies all night long" Sidney said "Is that wrong?" You said raising your eyebrows at her direction "you watch horror movies everyday,those movies are pointless and you're wasting your life away just watching horror movies" Sidney said and you glared at her

"Oh I'm sorry Sidney that not everyone can have you're little perfect life,and horror movies are not pointless,you know what's pointless,that stupid dance" you told her

"The dance isn't stupid" Sidney said "oh I'm sorry did I offend you?I'm sorry I didn't mean too..wait yes I did" you said
"Y/n" billy said you're name in warning and you tsk standing up grabbing your stuff "where you going?" Stu asked

"Away from billy and his stupid girlfriend who can offend me but I can't offend her because my stupid brother would rather defend his girlfriend then his brother/sister,yes I know I'm being overdramatic but I'm having a real shit day and I don't want to deal with Sidney's shit today " you said before walking away not noticing stu collecting his stuff and rushing after you

"Hey y/n wait up !" You slowed your pace down a bit and stu caught up with you "are you alright?"he asked and you sigh "not really" you said "wanna talk about it?" Stu questioned as you took a seat underneath a tree leaning your back against the tree and stu sat next to you

"Do you think..that I'm wasting my life stu?I mean I don't go out as much,only to skate park,school,the blockbuster and home ,I only hang out with you and billy and randy but you guy's don't count ,gosh Sidney was right I am wasting my life away" you ranted

"No you're not,you're life hasn't even started yet ,Sidney had no right telling you that you're wasting your life because your not,you're living your life the way you want and no one has the right to judge or tell you what to do " stu told you and you turned to look at him

"What would I do without you stu" you said and he chuckle " become a couch potato " he said and you both started to laugh ,it took a minute before the two of you calmed down

"Wanna go to the dance with me?" Stu suddenly asked "what?" You asked trying to make sure you heard right "wanna go to the dance with me on Friday?" Stu asked again

"Y..yes" you cursed to self for stuttering but stu smiled "great!this is awesome!" Stu said cheering bumping his fist into the air making you laugh and stu looked at you with loving eye's as he always loves to hear you laugh

Soon the bell ringed and the both of you stood up and walked towards the school laughing and cracking jokes

Stu always makes everything better,it's why he's you're bestfriend,you're person and you can't believe you're going to the dance with him ,you can't believe he asked you,you thought he would've asked Tatum or Casey to go with him but you chose you,you can't believe you are actually going to a school dance

School dances weren't normally you're thing ,you usually stayed home when billy went to the school dances with Sidney,and this was you're first dance with a date and you were nervous for one because you're date is stu and if something goes wrong you don't want to ruin you're friendship

"Hey!"you were snapped out of you're thoughts by your brother billy who seemed to had to jog to catch up with you "I'm sorry y/n -" billy started but you cut him off "it's alright billy,you don't have to apologize for anything since there is nothing to apologize for ,I was overreacting,I should be the one apologizing " you told him and billy gave you a look

"You seem ..I don't know happier then this morning what happened?" Billy questioned and you smile to yourself
"Stu asked me to the dance and I said yes and now we're going to the dance together " you told him

"Stu asked you to the dance?" Billy questioned a bit slowly and you nodded "yes, he did" you said

Billy seemed to be in thought for a few seconds before he nodded "okay" he said and you raised an eyebrow at his directon "okay?just okay?" You said as billy started to back up "yes..now I'm gonna go have a talk with stu" he said turning around to walk in a difficult direction

"Don't be an ass billy!"
