Cassie skipped to class with her best friend right next to her walking like a normal human being. Ray let out a groan of frustration rubbing her palms against her forehead trying to ease her killer headache. Cassie had already given the taller girl an Advil tablet but it wasn't working.

Ray had been up all of the night before studying and finishing her homework that she had been procrastinating on for the past month. Time was flying by so fast that days seemed to blur together but Cassie was happy nonetheless.

A total three and half months had passed since Cassie first stepped foot into U.A and she was already learning so much. She got to train with her class forming close bonds with several students in the process, faced off against some low level villains during the USJ attack and she had even grown closer with Todoroki.

Ray dropped Cassie off at her class like she did every day before going to her own classroom which was on the other side of the school. Cassie stepped into class 1A and was greeted by the lively chatter of her classmates.

Mina and Uraraka were swift to leap from their desks and pull Cassie into their conversation. Both girls sat the Pinkette down standing in front of her their hands on their hips. " Cassie, great we need you to pick from this list, Bakugo says he's the most attractive guy in our class and right now the votes are divided so you have to be the tie breaker.''

With little time to protest Cassie was handed a pen as she found herself staring at a slip of paper that held all of the names of the boys in their class. Cassie scanned the page to see who tied against Bakugo, green eyes squinting as she looked down at the messy handwriting of whoever made the list she was holding.

The writing was sloppy and rushed as if someone were in a hurry to make the list. Cassie gulped as her eyes landed on Todoroki's name, he was the person who had tied with bakugo in this absurd vote.

Cassie sweat dropped glancing up at her classmates who were hovering around her staring right back waiting for her to add a tally to one of the names. Was this some kind of set up? Both of the boys in question weren't even here at the moment so what was going on?

' Do they want me to admit my feelings?' Cassie thought to herself desperately trying to figure out what was really going on. Was this just simple fun with no alternative meaning, no way was this just a poll to figure out who the most attractive boy in their class was, it was obviously Todoroki no need to put it to a damn vote.

Momo was the most interested standing right behind the pinkette, and Cassie could feel her cold calculating gaze practically burning holes into her head. " What's wrong Cassie?'' Momo inquired, pressing a hand to Cassie's shoulder giving it a squeeze. " Whats taking so long?''

Cassie gulped, while the others didn't seem to have any ill intent, her classmate behind her almost certainly did. The pinkette set the pen in her hand down, clearing her throat awkwardly. She didn't want to make an enemy of any of her classmates but she had to be sure of one thing.

" Who made this list?'' Cassie asked, glancing at Momo next to her. Mina smiled innocently at her friend " Oh Momo came up with the idea! " the alien girl chirped, gesturing to the girl in question. Cassie had already guessed that but the confirmation still felt like a punch to the gutt.

Momo was strong, had a good physical build, came from a filthy rich family not to mention she was gorgeous. She was also probably crushing hard on Todoroki, why else would she be acting this childish?

Cassie didn't want to add a mark to Todoroki's name for that exact reason, she would be painting a target on her back. Nobody here knew she didn't remember her childhood and Cassie wanted to keep it that way, her missing memories weren't what defined her as a person after all, it was only six years of her life gone, not that big of a deal Cassie always told herself.

But with the growing villain crime rate it wasn't uncommon for kids to find out their parents were villains or at least associated with them. If it turned out that she was related to a villain all along U.A would kick her out. She knew this because one of the kids in her foster center had also gotten into U.A highschool. She was a talented quirk user who was bound to be a great hero some day, she truly had a bright future ahead of her.

It wasn't until the girl's second year that news spread of her biological parents committing a series of robberies resulting in them giving up custody of their child when they were caught, thus why she was in the foster care center in the first place.

U.A had expelled the girl as soon as they confirmed that her parents whom she had no lasting connection with, were both working for some underground group who had gone on a rampage and killed at least forty people in total over the span of a few years. It wasn't the girl's fault but she was still dumped on the streets despite that, her future as a hero snuffed out like a candle.

If somehow Cassie's lost memories were linked to the villains she wouldn't be able to attend U.A anymore and her dream of being a hero would be over before it had even truly started. Momo could definitely dig up her past using her copious connections or even make up a plausible lie about her unknown family if she wanted to.

This whole little game was probably to test Cassie, if she picked Shoto she would be confirming her feelings for him, not only to Momo but the whole class. Momo had to play dirty to get what she wanted but Cassie couldn't blame her, not really at least, love makes people do stupid things.
