NAME — originally Benita "Beni" Orville; went by Whim when helping Henry defeat Bendy the first time; now goes by Nox after Audrey gave her the name since she didn't remember her original names

AGE — originally 19; has been alive since the 1930s because of the ink machine's power

POWERS/ABILITIES — Beni can open ink portals on walls and floors to travel to places she can't reach. she can transport one other person with her but it's hard to keep herself and the extra held together since the ink is powerful. Another ability she has is she can eat ink hearts to strengthen her portals and she can temporarily control smaller ink monsters (the butcher gang and searchers). Other abilities include using ink to regenerate small wounds, detecting the Ink Demon, and being able to go into deep pools of ink without becoming shapeless

FRIEND OR FOE? — Beni is completely harmless and is a trusted ally to Audrey. She helps Audrey gain upgrades for her Gent pipe and guides her to an extent in the world of the Ink Machine. Beni is also friends with Cartoon Bendy, but is unaware of him being able to transform into the Ink Demon. And, while Audrey trusts Alice and Tom, Beni is unsure of them since the three had an uneasy first impression and have been wary ever since

BASIC KNOWLEDGE

+ Beni Orville dropped out of high school when she was 16 to help her family during the Great Depression. She got a job at Joey Drew Studios as a janitor to help make money. She became friends with Wally Frank and got to know some other employees like Henry Stein, Sammy Laurence, Norman Polk, and Thomas Connor. Unknown to all of them, Beni was quite the artist and would actually sketch Joey Drew's characters to create her own mini comics

+ Within a few months, Joey Drew made Beni an intern when he found her sketches, comics, and small flip-note cartoons in her locker. As he apprenticed Beni and let her work on projects, the teenager became a vital employee. There were some who grew jealous of her, like Susie Campbell and Sammy Lawrence, but Beni didn't let it get to her

+ Wally Frank would sometimes hang out in Beni's drawing room and rant about his job of being a janitor and experiencing side drama between coworkers. he would say he would be "outta here" if he was mildly inconvenienced again or if another ink pipe burst. Beni would always find herself giggling at his stories and while Wally was completely serious about them, he would laugh along with her and tell her he wouldn't leave her alone with "all these boring depressed animators." Plus, he saw her like a little sister and good friend so she was a reason for him staying....And that paycheck was always good too

+ Susie Campbell had an unexplained hatred toward the young animator and would constantly harass Beni when she was lone in her work area. At one point, Beni threatened to tell Joey and Susie stopped, but it didn't completely stop her from being verbally abusive and being a bully. Beni would never let the words get to her but she would shoot back her own insults or phrases that usually ended with Susie crying. Wally always found it funny

+ Sammy and Beni had a frenemy type friendship. They could tolerate one another for a time, but then find one another at each other's throats right after. It was amusing to watch the adult fight with the teenager, but sometimes someone would have to step in to stop them from getting physical with one another

+ With all the money she made, now 19 year old Beni gave it all to her family since they needed it more than she did. She practically lived at the studio and with the new sleep lounge Joey built, she was rarely a sight to see at her family's home. It became concerning for her parents when she would disappear for weeks, reappear for a few days, then leave again. It wasn't until her father died in the Second World War that Beni took time off and went to see her family

+ when Beni was transported into the world of the Ink Machine by Joey, she woke up not knowing who she was and didn't remember anything that happened before waking. All she saw was that she was half human and half ink. In the real world, Beni disappeared for forty years and her family was left in the dark about their daughter's disappearance. All they could do was threaten a lawsuit against Joey Drew and put up lost papers of Beni. Once the 40s came in the real world, Beni's family gave up on finding her and accepted the idea of her being dead

+ Beni met Henry in Chapter 3 when he and Boris were out getting items for Alice Angel. Henry almost hit her in the head with a wrench but after seeing Beni was harmless and capable of talking, he let her help him gather parts or destroy Bendy cutouts. It turned out she was afraid of Alice and never left the elevator when Henry returned to her

+ when he met her, Henry somewhat recognized her, but when he sees she has no idea who he is or who she is, he gives her the nickname Whim. The nickname stuck for awhile even after Henry stopped Bendy and returned to his world, but she soon forgot Henry and forgot herself again

+ for years, Beni spent her time wandering the Studio and even finding new places she had never seen. It was like everyday she found something new but it also felt familiar to her. Beni couldn't describe it, but when she wasn't exploring, she was wandering around Animation Alley or sketching at one of the old desks

+ when Beni met Audrey, it wasn't because the two were fighting another, but because Beni was sneaking passed a Keeper to get into the Little Devil's Lounge to take some food. When Audrey got to know the young ink artist, she realized she was from her world as well but had no idea who she was. The two struck up an alliance and are now finding their way out of the Studio

+ since Beni didn't remember her name or nickname Henry gave her years ago, Audrey gave her the nickname Nox so she didn't have to keep calling her "Inky"

+ During her time in the Machine, Beni met little cartoon Bendy. She and the little cartoon became best buds and they like playing hide and go seek when there's no dangers around like keepers or searchers. He also likes being held by her and has fallen asleep many times while she holds him. Unfortunately, Beni is completely unaware of Bendy being the Ink Demon she fears. She just thinks he's another ink creation of the Machine since he looks harmless and cute
