POWERS/ABILITIES: Tommi has a cybernetic prosthetics like Bucky Barnes. His leg arm and right leg have been replaced with cybernetics after joining SHIELD, giving him more mobility and he can use them to enhance his physical performance. Since Hydra infiltrated SHIELD, Tommi was unknowingly subjected to genetic enhancements to become a lesser super soldier through doses of "medicine" when he was recovering in the hospital from his injuries of war. The abilities gained from the serums and pills were enhanced strength, speed, and agility. Besides that, Tommi is a completely normal human...not counting the cybernetics

BASIC KNOWLEDGE
+ Tommi was 18 when he joined the army. He had just graduated high school and immediately went into basic training a week after. He was top of his class and was a fast learner, making Tommi a valuable soldier when he became an officer
+ When he was 20, Tommi was given the opportunity to join a special ops task force. He accepted the offer and became a specially trained soldier who went on top secret missions to take down AIM and Hydra wannabes across the world. Tommi got the nickname "Ghost" amongst his comrades and anyone else who heard about what his special ops force was capable of. Turns out, this task force was arranged by SHIELD and he became a SHIELD agent in the following months. But unfortunately, his team members slowly became HYDRA agents along with a lot of others in SHIELD since the nazi organization was infiltrating during this time
+ at 23, a mission went wrong and Tommi was severely injured. He lost his left arm and right leg in an explosion along with hearing in his left ear. The injuries sustained ended with Tommi being honorably discharged from the military and awarded the Purple Heart. As Tommi recovered, he was given a lesser super soldier serum by Hydra agents to make him enhanced. Once he was better and back with SHIELD, Tommi fitted for prosthetic prototypes developed by Stark Industries. Soon enough, Tommi was given cybernetic limbs and a special hearing device that could be used as a com-link and hearing aid
+ Tommi went through a lot of physical therapy, and that was when he started to noticed a lot of super-soldier-like abilities like enhanced strength and senses. He just chalked it up to having cybernetic prosthetics and didn't question it
+ now in 2014, Tommi is a special ops SHIELD agent who does more of SHIELD's dirty work and is a member of Agent 13's STRIKE team. He still goes by Ghost and prefers that over his real name. Tommi will respond to the nickname "Taffy"—a name given to him by Natasha since the two are close friends. The only other person he allows to call him that is Sam Wilson
+ He is eventually assigned to Captain America's team and becomes good friends with him
+ AUTHOR TRIVIA: Tommi is literally a massive reference to COD. Y'all could probably tell that from a mile away xD
+ No one knows Tommi's deadname except Natasha. The only reason she knows is that Tommi felt safe and comfortable enough with the assassin to tell her. Since then, Natasha will fight anyone who tries to call Tommi the wrong name or purposely misgendering him
+ He's a Call of Duty fan and likes to quote voice lines or death screens while on missions. His favorites are "Mission failed. We'll get him next time" and random quotes he remembers. This always makes the STRIKE team annoyed but Steve thinks it's the funniest thing he's ever heard
+ Tommi's story is an AVENGERS AU where after TWS, Bucky was reinstated into SHIELD as a STRIKE member of Captain America and Black Widow's team. Tommi becomes good friends with him after he joins and the two are a deadly force to be reckoned with. They're best known for their stealth and infiltration missions since they can kill anyone without making a noise. On side note, AoU, Civil War, and any of the movies after (not counting GOTG or Thor Ragnarok) do not exist or happen in this universe
+ While on a mission to infiltrate a Hydra base, Tommi's STRIKE team turns against him and Bucky and attempt to kill them. Steve happens to see what was going on and rushed over to break it up. In Tommi's spur of the moment, he drew his sniper rifle and shot without seeing who it was and shot Steve. The bullet didn't kill him, but the shot was deadly. All of the STRIKE members witnessed it and started shouting that Tommi and Bucky turned against SHIELD and were Hydra agents instead of them. The two ended up going on the run in the country they were in and had to find a way to prove their innocence
+ The story is told in 3rd-person, but it goes between the POVs of Tommi, Bucky, Natasha, and Tommi's brother, Kenzie, who is an ex-military-turned-cartel sicario
+ The infiltration of Hydra in SHIELD begins after the incident with Tommi and Bucky, and Hydra finally makes itself known. The enemy agents kill any SHIELD agent who won't turn and even try to kill Natasha (you can probably guess how that ended). The Avengers end up being taken over by Alexander Pierce who orders them (excluding Natasha) to hunt down Tommi, Natasha, and Bucky. There's no hesitation in taking down Bucky, but they were skeptical in taking down Tommi. While he was loyal, the Avengers considered the fact Tommi could have faked it. As for Natasha with them anymore, they had to be careful since she could take each one of them out just as quickly as the two former super soldiers
+ Steve Rogers is the only person who can prove Tommi and Bucky's innocence, but with Hydra surrounding his hospital room and purposely leaving him in a medically induced coma, there's no way to wake him up to get the truth
+ This AU is kind of like a mix of TWS and CW but without the Avengers breaking up. While Natasha is technically no longer an Avenger because of circumstances, the group doesn't exactly betray one another. Another aspect of this story is that it's inspired by certain missions in CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE 2 (2022)
