I've played Eddsworld fanfic bingo

So recently I've been scrolling through the Eddsworld subreddit (yes really) and stumbled upon something. What did I find I hear you ask? I found a bingo sheet and not just any bingo sheet. It's a bingo sheet that points out all the sins that Eddsworld fanfic writers have committed throughout the years. Well, 2016 and 2017 mostly. 

 The bingo sheet was created by a user who goes by Pen-Gwenz.

So, am I going to scroll through the deepest yet darkest pits of Wattpad, ao3, and Quotev just to find fanfics that were written six years ago and use this bingo sheet to tear them apart? The answer will be no. 

Instead of going through six year old fanfics, I will be using my own fanfics to fight against this evil bingo sheet. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. I am crazy enough to do this, but at the time, I love roasting my past self.

I'll be using these following stories: Eddbusters, Dropshot, Eddsworld: At World's End (shorten to AWE), The Real Reason Why, and Eddworld: Untold Tales From The Future (shorten to UTFTF). 

So, without further... *long inhale*.... ado, let's see how cringe past me was. 

1. Tord Returns (Free Space) 

Oh, we're starting off with a good one- and oh. Well, this is unfortunate. This square is a free space so I'm lucky. 

The only stories that has Tord returning is The Real Reason Why and AWE. 
Okay, this wasn't all that bad. Hopefully, I don't get the first square marked

2. There's at least one ship 

Oh, why would I jinx myself? Why would do this to myself? Oh man....

It has become increasingly obvious that I can deny it no longer...
The Real Reason Why is a paultryck fic. 


3. Last updated in 2018

Oh noooooooo.... 
Another square gets marked and its the second one. Why? Just why? 

It may not seem like it, but the only story that was released and last updated in 2018 was The Real Reason Why. The other four stories that I wrote were released between 2019 and 2020 (2021, if you count Night of the Beaster Bunny; god, I really need to update it. What am I even doing with my life?) 

This may be a surprise to some, but The Real Reason Why wasn't supposed have seven chapters. It was originally meant to be a oneshot because I wrote it for a class assignment in English class. However, people really liked and wondered if I was going to continue it. I said yes, but in reality, I didn't have much of a story so I just made it up as I went. 

I had no plans at all, but it was successful. I'll give it that.

4. Someone randomly starts singing

In AWE, my oc Tony sings, but there's actually build up to that moment. So, it wasn't really random. 

However, in Dropshot, there was Edd's uncle that sang. He was showing what was in his house and.... oh god, it was poorly paced in my opinion. I think there was build up. Oh wait, I remember, there was build up. It was still out of left field but it sorta made sense. 
I'll stop talking now

5. Tom turns into a monster

Oh boy, here's another square that gets marked. 

Tom turns into a monster in the huge battle towards the last two chapters of Eddbusters. It's not said or mentioned anywhere, but it kinda hints that Matt chose Tom to be the vessel of the Destroyer character... thing.  

6. Random OC is included out of nowhere 

This may come to a surprise to some, but any character that shows up in my stories that's completely original usually has some sort of build up before they make an appearance.
