As I walked back home to my cave I couldn't help it but smile to myself as I drank from the cup the kind girl had given me. Nobody has done anything so nice for me like that before. I haven't had a real drink like this in forever. Words cant describe how amazing it feels having the taste of the sweet drink going down my throat. I haven't had anything else to drink except pond water my whole entire life basically. As I kept walking, smiling, and drinking i came across a little bird on the ground struggling for help. I kneeled down besides the bird and prompted it up against my finger. "Did life get you down little birdy?" I spoke out loud to the bird. "Come on...
Spread your wings and fly!" I helped the bird to move it's wings and i watched as it soared through the air and i watched it until it flew off into the distance and i no longer could see it. I continued my long, exhausting hike back to the cage. When i finally returned to the cave it was dark out already. I took my shoes off put down my socks and hair brush that i got and hopped into my hay bed. I picked up the sharp stone and into my cave i carved in "Learn to live, Learn to fly." I realized that i hadn't eaten dinner because i was walking all night. I took out the sandwich that the girl gave me. After one single bite of the sandwich i felt like there were angels by my sides. I am safe here. I know that gods looking down on me, he sent an angel to feed me today. It really is incredible if you think about how people go out of their way to please other people and to make them happy for a day or longer.
