The wind blew back my hair with every step i took. The leaves crumbled under feet. I was walking to the shopping center again, today. I was hoping to find a blanket in the garbage for the next time it gets incredibly cold. Maybe I would find gloves and a hat too. I doubt that I will be lucky enough to find all three. I liked going out into the civilization anyway. Even though the walk is very long daunting, it makes me feel great to feel like I'm actually living. I made my way through the woods, getting scratched from all the twigs and sharps sticks and then to the highway. After what felt like a year i reached my destination. I began to walk towards the back of the shopping center to the big garbage when i stopped because i saw something unusual. It looked like it was a wooden platform put up to keep people from entering. I was confused, I have never seen this before. I feared that they were taking my big garbage away. I cant imagine how i would survive without it. I was dying to see what was going on so I walked over to the wood blocking the road. I looked behind it and I saw the pretty girl again. I was shocked to see her here again. What could she possibly have been doing in this poor neighborhood? With they way she dressed, i can just tell that she can afford to spend her days in a much nicer neighborhood. Without thinking, i walked pasted the wooden platform.
I wanted to get a closer look at what the girl was doing and I was considering thanking her again if conversation was brought upon. She had a few men with cameras following her and some other people as well.
I kept on walking. She was walking up the staircase on the side of the shops and looking down at the camera.
Moments later i heard a voice yelling. Me being hard of hearing, i could not hear what the voice was saying. I tried to look for the person yelling so i can maybe try and read his lips but i could not find whoever it was. I ignored
It, maybe the shouting wasn't for me. But i guess I had to think twice. When i turned around, there was a cop standing right behind me. Im guessing he is the one who was screaming to me. The blue and red lights reflected off his face as he stared me in the eyes with a stern look on. He grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and pushed me up against the wall. My heart pounded. I was afraid and confused of what was happening. If only i had been able to hear what he was screaming to me before. If he was a bit closer to me i probably wouldn't have this happening. I wondered what i did wrong "put your hands behind your back miss." Said the cop, sounding very mad. "E-excuse me.." I managed to say, my voice trembling as i spoke. "You didn't listen to me before so listen to now or your only going to make it worse for yourself."
"Sir, i-i couldn't hea-"
He cut me off. "Im not listening to this. Put your hands behind your back right this instance" he said.
I slowly put my hands behind my back and he tightly adjusted handcuffs around my hands. I was then stuffed into the back of a police car. I hadn't been in a car since i was 4. I was so overwhelmed and confused. Being in a car brought me bad memories again which didn't help. A few seconds later, the car zoomed off and i had no idea where i was going, what trouble i was in,or what i had done wrong but i did not dare to speak.
