Tae's POV

I was sitting on the sofa in the living room, waiting for her impatiently.

I kept tapping my foot while biting my lips and checking the phone.

Just then my doorbell rang.

I quickly jolted up, swiped my hair back and ran towards the door.

I exhaled loudly and opened the door with a big smile.

Ara - " Hii!!"

She greeted while shivering a little.

My smile faded.

Tae - "Hi, Ara...you are cold...come in quickly."

I stepped aside to let her in.

She nodded and entered in quickly.

Tae - " Have a seat."

I gestured towards qthe couch.

She sat down keeping her coat away.

I stared at her and tried to control my smile.

I don't know why I wanted to smile soo bad.

She looked at me and cleared her throat.

Tae - " Ohh ..umm .. what would you like to have?"

She scrunched her brows.

Ara - " Umm.... anything is fine."

Tae - " Oh... well... would you prefer, coffee, tea, soju, beer, juice-"

Ara - " S-soju is fine"

She interrupted me.

I nodded and walked towards the kitchen.

There was a lot of awkwardness...and I cannot explain the reason for it.

Time skip

We were currently on our second bottle of soju and still quite sober.

Ara - " What happened Taehyung?"

She suddenly asked while filling her cup.

Tae - " Huh?"

Ara - " I mean...what happened that caused you to forgot the meet-up."

I blinked and sighed.

Tae - " Nothing...just lost a deal and there were some consequences."

I spoke casually before gulping the soju.

She shifted closer to me and stared at my face.

A sudden wave of heat hit my body.
