I slammed my alarm to shut it up and threw a pillow over my head. Then I heard a door open.
'Malachi!! Get up!!!! ' Shouted Artemis.
'Ugh... It's only 5:30... Let me sleep... ' I groaned.
'You mean 7:30! You slept for an extra 2 hours! ' She said and I slammed my pillow onto my legs and ran to get ready. I put on my backpack, my shoes, grabbed Artemis's arm and ran to school.
'Here we are. Kingler Way High School. ' I said.
'It's... GIANT! ' Artemis shouted,everyone looked at us.
'Shhh! People are gonna think you're weird!'
'Better weird than normal! '
'True, I guess...' I stated 'But still. I'd you say something out of line like humans or something else like that, it could COMPLETELY ruin your chance of a good reputation. This school is insanly judgemental.'
'Oh... I see. So I can't be myself?' She questioned.
'No no no! I didnt mean it like that. I just meant, maybe keep it more... Hidden... You know?'
'I understand. Ok. I will try. For you, Malachi.'
'Thanks, Artemis.'
Let me tell you about my school. So as you can tell it's called Kingler Way High School. My status? Popular music kid. Artemis's? Odd new kid. But soon we WILL change that. It's just how. That's the question we're all asking and we might have to do that pretty fast...
