Few notes about the cover/s:
(Cover 1): These is actually the first book cover for the first volume. It shows HeiDan and his toys and the table owned by JiHuan's family.
(Cover 2) : Second book cover.
There's a Bible verse written there. Thank goodness I still remembered that it's a bible verse. Note that author would sometimes write some bible verses in some of her chapters (I remembered she wrote something like the coming of the devil on earth when Ah Jin showed up. And the one that had a subtle meaning of 2nd coming of Jesus or smth, or smth like Ah Jin being a Messiah or something in the eyes of Jin Huan when he was in his most desperate time).
This is the King James version of the written verse on the cover: Psalm 1:1, KJV: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

This cover pretty much shows Ah Jin and JiHuan on that garden pavillion JiHuan always clean, during the period JiHuan was working for Ah Jin's caretaker family. Ji Huan would always go to that pavillion either to rest after his work or to clean it up. This is also the place where ML and Ji Huan would meet for the first time.
The book is also divided into arcs or volumes depicting the main story flow. Prologue or first part is about the growth of baby Hei Dan, Ji Huan's family backstory and their living and social life, their daily life and their growth in Bade Mountain.
The second part is about Ji Huan and their family's daily life after living Bade Mountain. I won't say too much coz I would probably spoil about it.

Hi!!!! Astrid here. I jumped into another book since I've finished the other one lol. I just want to reread this AWESOME book by solongatime.
What I really loved about this was the CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT and the humanity of each main characters written by the author. Every main characters (YES! With an S!) here would have major emotional and character growth.
All the novels' characters are very HUMANE, for example Ji Huan, his best friend Wang and Grandpa, and even Hei Dan (tho most of the characters here were not HUMAN).
Also, every bit of Ji Huan, the MC, was close to reality. He's very relateable. He's hardworking, he longs and clings to that familial love he was given. What I really loved about him is he never forgets those who had given and shared their kindness and love to him. I just hope that whoever would read this until the last chapter would feel the same way I have felt when I was reading this novel.
This is an mtled version of Mò Wàng and is subjected to grammatical errors. I may also occasionally edit some confusing names and words. Updates would be 2 - 3 chapters per publish page, but sporadic.
