3rd Person POV:

Minho woke up to an empty house, the silence immediately making him uneasy.

Jisung was gone.

He had mentioned visiting his parents the day before but hadn’t given an exact time for his return—just a casual, “I’ll be back before 8 PM.” It was only 5:30 PM now, but Minho already missed him.

Not that he’d admit it.

He didn’t want to seem clingy. He didn’t want Jisung to hate him the way everyone else eventually did.

Swallowing the loneliness creeping in, Minho forced himself out of bed, his stomach growling in protest. He frowned. "Right… I didn’t eat dinner last night." He had fallen asleep on the couch before he got the chance.

Wait.

His frown deepened. "I don’t remember coming to bed…

Minho glanced around as if the answer would reveal itself, then a thought struck him—one that sent warmth creeping up his neck.

"Did Jisung bring me to bed?

The idea of Jisung picking him up—holding him, even if he had been asleep—made his stomach flip in a way he wasn’t prepared for.

By the time he caught his reflection in the bathroom mirror, his cheeks had turned a soft shade of pink. He instantly covered his face with his hands, groaning in embarrassment.

"Stop. This is creepy."

Shaking off the thoughts, Minho stripped out of his clothes and stepped into the shower, letting the warm water wash away whatever this feeling was.

After freshening up and throwing on a comfortable outfit, he headed downstairs. He had just started making himself some toast when his phone vibrated with a new message.

Sung (〃ω〃)

Hey

Sorry to ask, but could you buy some coffee from the store?

I bought groceries yesterday but forgot to get coffee.

Minho stared at the text for a moment.

The way Jisung texted… felt off. Not wrong, exactly, just not like him. But Minho shrugged it off, assuming he was just busy with his parents.

Bunny(=^‥^=)

Sure ^^

"Come on, Mom!" Jisung whined, dragging his mother into the house by the arm while his father followed behind with an amused smile. "I promise you won’t be disappointed when you meet Minho in real life!"

He ushered them toward the couch before eagerly scanning the room, eyes darting toward the stairs. No sign of Minho.

His lips tugged into a slight pout.

"Mom, I’ll check if he’s upstairs," he announced, already sprinting toward the stairs before he even finished his sentence.

"Slow down, honey! Don’t trip!" Mrs. Han called after him, laughing at his excitement.

The moment Jisung disappeared from sight, Mr. Han turned to his wife with an amused expression. "You do realize this isn’t just a ‘roommate,’ right?"

Mrs. Han glanced at him, sensing his hesitation. "Does that… bother you?"

He exhaled through his nose, shaking his head. "No, it’s just…" He paused, choosing his words carefully. "It’s different from what I expected. I never thought Jisung would like another man."

Mrs. Han studied him for a moment before softening her tone. "Jisung is still the same son we’ve always known. And whoever Minho is to him, it’s obvious he makes him happy."

Mr. Han didn’t respond right away. He wasn’t disappointed—just uncertain. This was unfamiliar territory for him, and while he wasn’t against it, he wasn’t entirely sure how to feel either.

"I just hope this Minho is a good person," he finally said, his voice firm but calm. "That’s all that matters."

Mrs. Han smiled gently. "That’s all that should matter."

A few minutes later, Jisung reappeared, his previous excitement replaced by a slight frown.

Mrs. Han immediately noticed. "What’s wrong, honey?"

Jisung sighed, plopping down beside her. "Minho isn’t home. It’s weird… he always tells me when he’s going out." His frown deepened. "Maybe he forgot."

Mr. Han remained quiet, observing his son carefully. Jisung had always been expressive, but there was something different about the way he spoke about this Minho. It wasn’t just casual concern—it was deeper.

Mrs. Han, noticing the shift, clapped her hands together. "Well, he’ll be back at some point, right? Actually, we were thinking of asking if we could spend the weekend here!"

Jisung perked up slightly, though a small part of him hesitated. If his parents stayed over, he’d have to be careful—less affectionate with Minho. The last thing he wanted was for them to get suspicious.

But he quickly pushed that thought aside. "Sure! That sounds great!"

Mr. Han only hummed, still lost in thought.
