Invisible Sting
Written for a friend,
by
Ron Bautista

Little jellyfish wandering in the unknown,
When will you swim back home?
The way you sting others is your defense mechanism,
Causing pain towards someone is not your symbolism.

Little jellyfish, you're never a mistake,
Life has its ups and downs, sometimes you just need a break.
Don't ever forsake yourself just because you're one odd out.
Your life in this world has a reason without a doubt.

Little jellyfish, look up and rise above,
The light within you may flicker, but it is filled with love.
Little jellyfish the world may invalidate your feelings,
It would sting for sure, but it would heal just keep on breathing.
