Chapter 1- Living The High Life

The morning sun of Alola finally broke through my window.
The clouds float by making funny silhouettes, and the lovely sound of the waves crashing on the shore wakes me up.

"......" I start to wake up stretching and yawning.

"Good morning Alola," I said to myself as I open the window

"Y/n!! Come here!" I heard my mom yelling from the kitchen

"Coming mom!" I ran to the kitchen, and I saw her fuming with anger.

"y-yes mom what did you need?" I said nervously.

She took a moment to say something but then she spoke
"Y/n l/n you are going to move with your aunt to Galar because I can't handle you being a skull grunt anymore!"

She stayed silent after that but she looked worried.

"Don't think I don't care but the schools here are not gonna change your antics so I've decided to move you there with better teachers and many other opportunities"

She gave me a big hug as a tear shed from her eyes

I gave out a big sigh and nodded
I was ready to take this opportunity to make my mom proud.

"Alright mom I'll do this for you," I said as I smile

"That's my brave girl now go pack up" I nod and run to pack up.

2 hours later

I waited desperately for a cab to pick me up, I had to leave all my Pokemon behind even my best friend Decidueye

He was there through the tough times and even the bright times so I'll miss him so much.

As finally, my thoughts came to an end a cab pulled up

"Uhh y/n?" I nod as the driver opens the trunk for my luggage.

I tossed it back there as I sat in the back of the car and patiently waited until we got to the airport.

I paid the driver and got out as I ran in knowing that my flight was about to take off.

I boarded the plane and sat near the window. See the once beautiful home I made for myself, and with the help of a couple of friends disappear into a fog of clouds.

"(Don't worry it's gonna be okay)" I recited to myself as I closed my eyes and saw the beautiful wave sounds dissipate

A few hours later I finally landed in Galar.

"Oh my goodness!" I saw the beautiful landscape and the fresh breeze hit me

Not quite like Alola but sweet and refreshing.

I started walking out of the airport and saw a person that was waving at me and telling me to get closer.

"You're y/n right?" I nod as she gave me a big hug "I'm Sonia your aunt!" I smile and hug her tightly.

"Aunt it's really good to finally meet you!" I said with a great smile.

She nodded her head "likewise now how about we get you some new clothes Galar is the coldest region after all"

I nod as I realize that I still had my team skull tank top on and the hat
"Right I wish I came more prepared"

"Don't worry I came more prepared so let's go!" We ran out and called a cab to take us to the mall in Motostoke

I look at all the new Pokemon and smile
"Wow, those new Pokemon look so cool!"

Sonia smiled
"Well I heard from your mom that you were a Pokemon trainer is that right"

I nod knowing all of the fights I did and the times I've won with the team I kept for years.

"Well you'll still be doing that but in a school that's for Pokemon trainers"
Sonia said with a smile

I nod as I saw the town it was gorgeous
"Hey Earth to Y/n let's go you'll freeze if you're out here like that" I nod as I get out of the car and into the mall

And saw a guy and a boy standing in front of the mall.

"Hey, Leon!" Yelled out Sonia
"Oh! Hey Sonia I'm glad you're here"
Said Leon with a championing stance

"Me too I have someone for you two to meet" she pushed me upfront

I stuck out my hand to shake his
"Hi sir a pleasure to meet you," I said confidently

"Haha! That's adorable, a pleasure to meet you too y/n I heard Lot about you from Sonia" he gave a very handsome smile and a boy came in and interrupted us

"The name is Hop! And I'm gonna be just like my big bro a champion!" He smiles

I giggle "well a pleasure to meet you as well now can I get some new clothes here I'm freezing to death here"

Sonia grabbed my hand and ran over to a clothing shop near the entrance.

I saw a fluffy beige jacket and a black turtle-neck shirt.

I was never comfortable wearing skirts so I still went for ripped short jeans and long black stockings and black shoes.

I took off my team skull hat and stared at it for a minute

"I miss those idiots," I said softly putting it away in my traveling bag

"Y/n are you done?" Said hop "I poke my head out of the changing room" yeah just don't judge me"

He nodded and smiled Sweetly

I stepped out and smiled giving a twirl

Hop's pov:
"(Omg she looks so cute!)"

"You look amazing y/n," I said with a smile as my cheeks flushed bright pink.

"Thank you hop I haven't been able to wear sweaters since I was in a tropical environment in my whole life," she said as she grabbed her bag.

Y/n pov:

I finally exited the store and walked out to Sonia who was waiting for me with Leon next to her.

"Hey Sonia, hey Leon how do I look!"
I smile

Sonia hugged me and gave out a little fan-girly scream.

And Leon smiled while holding up a thumbs-up.
"You look beautiful," said Leon you felt yourself blush and smile

"Thank you now please let's go home Sonia" she nodded and waved goodbye to both of the boys as we held another cab.

We finally made it home as Sonia opened the door a Pokemon launched itself at me it was yamper

"yamper it's rude to almost tackle guests!" She scolded him I giggle

"It's okay I don't mind yamper, but I'm really tired" I yawn while saying

Sonia escorted me to a room that had a sun roof and a large queen size bed

"Thank you" I said while I sit on the bed and take a long deserved nap.
