The next morning she followed a similar routine, but in a way that she wasn't ready that much before the crew. In the breakfast room, she met the Estonians and Finns.  "Hey guys, who's the new face in your team?" She asked, looking at the unknown jumper who sat between Eetu and Antti. "That's Vilho. Our youngster.", Eetu explained.  “Who are you?" Vilho asked curiously. Helena smiled and replied: "As you might see, part of Team Austria, more specifically a physiotherapist and sometimes a media person."  "And you are also friends with people from other nations?" Vilho asked. "Sure, my best friends are of course Austrians, but I'm also close with others, for example with you, a few Norwegians and many others."  , Helena explained and looked at her friends.

"Good morning Helena." Jan called across the hall.  "See you." Helena said with a light laugh.  "But not everyone of us will later be at the hill." Antti remarked.  "We'll still see each other somehow." Helena replied with a grin before walking to her team.  "What did you do?" asked Krafti and looked in the direction of the Finns.  "I examined the new one." Helena replied and laughed lightly.  "And how is he?" Jan asked curiously.  "For the fact that he is Finnish and that I spoke to him for the first time, he was pretty talkative." Helena answered and laughed lightly.  She was genuinely puzzled as her first initial conversations with the rest of the Finnish force had been much more terse.  "Have you already had breakfast?" Michi asked.  "Not this time." Helena replied and walked in the direction of the breakfast buffet.

As soon as everyone was sitting at the table, Andi spoke up.  "Today's plan is to first catch up on yesterday's meeting and then do a sports session. After that we will have lunch before we go to the ski jump. Then there's the trial run and the competition.  Maybe we'll even be lucky and see the ladies." he said before everyone went to their meal.

After the meeting and the sports unit, Helena took extra care of Hubi's knee.  "How does it feel right now?" Helena asked while working on Hubi's leg.  "Not perfect, but good enough to jump." Hubi replied.  "I can't see any changes in a more negative direction for now, but if that's the case, please tell me immediately." Helena said.  "Because nobody wants it to get worse." Hubi imitated what he was constantly told. Helena laughed lightly.  "Nice that you know it yourself," she said.  "I would be stupid if I didn't say anything." Hubi said.  "You can always risk your career." Helena replied.

Some time later, the team met in full strength at lunch and shortly afterwards it was already time to go to the competition. While the team made their way to the team room, Helena and Andi went to see Harald to ask him how the women's competition went.  "I hope you manage to build on our result." Harald said when he saw the two.  "How did it go?" Helena asked curiously and smiled.  “Pretty good.  Everyone made it into the top 30 and Eva and Marita ended up on the podium, only Silje Opseth was better than them,” explained Harald.  “Congratulations.  We can definitely land there too.”, said Andi.  "I think they can do it." Helena replied.  "Good luck." Harald said, waved as a goodbye and disappeared.

When the trial round started, Helena and Jan stood a little apart.  It would be a while before it was the Austrians' turn, and before they even approached the team's start numbers, they didn't have to stand around unnecessarily in the outrun.  Relaxed, they looked at each other's jumps, talked about some jumps and Jan laughed a little every time Helena rocked along to the music that was playing in the stadium.  Shortly before it was the turn of the first Austrian, Helena left her position and got ready to receive him.

Overall, from the Austrian point of view, the trial run could definitely still be improved and they were all slightly below their expectations.  Everyone except Tschofe, who was ranked fifth with a jump of 128.5m.  But Helena was sure that at the end of the day she would find more Austrians in the top 10 again.  After a very short analysis of the trial, the first competition of the season officially started.
