That alarm clock again, I thought, I've moved it three times already.
"Olivia come down!" I haven't even introduced myself to you, my name is Olívia as you have already heard and I am 17 years old. I am currently studying in high school, where I should hurry. I got dressed and cleaned up, put on black jeans, a white crop top and a blue sweatshirt.
I went downstairs
"Good morning" I said
"Good morning, breakfast is on the table" said Jack, my oldest brother, I have four older brothers Jack-20, Josh-19, Marcus and Martinus-18 they are twins ( I don't mean those famous singers)
Then I also have a twin, her name is Kate and a little sister Stella-6
"Thank you but i'm late, I'll take them with me" I said, took the waffles in my hand and ran in front of the house where my best friend Dylan was waiting for me, he's a year older so he is 18.
"Good morning" I said as I got into the car
"You're late again? Tell me what you do in the morning when you're late"
"Simple, sleeping" I said as I fastened my belt
"what would you do without me" he told me
"Well, I don't know, but I'd rather start because we're going to be late"
"And whose fault is it"
"Well mine not I said and Dylan just laughed
Dylan parked and we got out, I said goodbye to him because he's in a different class than me, and I went to Cassie's
"Hii" I said and hugged her
"You didn't keep up again, I see," said Cassie, my best friend
"Pf me and not keeping up? It doesn't go together," I said
"Really? So why is your hair messy and you have a waffle in your hand?"
"Okay, maybe I was a little late, but in my defense, it's not my fault!"
"Let me guess, you didn't feel like getting up again and you snoozed the alarm at least three times" said Cassie
"Are you watching me?!" I said and we laughed
"Let's go to class" I said
Cassie and I have known each other since I was little, she lives three houses away from me and we usually go to school together, but today she had to do something
I've known Dylan since kindergarten, he's the only guy my brothers respect near me.
We got to class, we had English. English is the best for me out of all the subjects, I don't even have to study for it because I know it.
We entered the classroom, I sat in the very back and Cassie in the very front. Just as we sat down, the bell rang.
The teacher and the principal came to the classroom.
Cassie and I looked at each other
"Good morning, the principal and I want to tell you good news," said the teacher,
"So we got an offer for an exchange year between our school and the school in Brazil" said the principal and everyone started squealing except me.
"Let me finish! You will go to the same department only in Brazil and you will speak English" said the principal
Everyone listened to him attentively
"But only two can go, so we decided to choose those who speak English very well and have good results in other subjects"
Everyone held their breath and listened to what he was going to say
"And we chose Olivia Richards!" I can't believe it, they chose me!
"And since we know she wouldn't go without her best friend, so the other one is Cassie Johnson!"
Cassie looked at me with joy in her eyes
We ran towards each other and started jumping for joy
Then we hugged the teacher and the principal
"Thank you thank you thank you!"
"You're welcome, you deserve it," said the principal
"Now go home, I'm giving you the day off, go to pack up and say goodbye to your families, you're leaving tomorrow at 4 in the morning"
We thanked again and ran home
