Chapter 19

Two years later...

It's been 2 years since haileys been in a coma she was brain dead.

The hospital wouldn't hold her body anymore so we took her home.

Hailey was now 21 years old and graduated school without knowing.

Her friends and Jonah helped make sure she had all her extra credit to pass.

We set hailey in her room and hired a hospice nurse for her.

Jonah still lived in town but he didn't visit us much anymore.

Mason was sitting with her almost every day he still does.

Jonah's pov

It's been 2 and a half years today since she's been in that damn coma.

Todays her birthday and I'm trying to swallow my pride and go see her.

I didn't go on dates or go out much at all after she was pronounced brain dead.

I was sitting in my car debating on wether I should go in or not.

"Hey Jonah." Kai waved

"Hey man." I said awkwardly

"Coming in?" He asked

"Yeah." I said swallowing hard

I got out of the car locking it and walked inside with him.

"Go on in." He said

"Hey Jonah." Ryan and Jake waved

"Hey." I said

I walked upstairs opening her door as I took a deep breath.

"Hey love." I said sadly

I sat down next to her bed holding her hand as it felt cold.

"I miss you so much." I said sighing

"Violets been in jail for two years now." I said

"Serves her right." I said angrily

"She got two counts of attempted murder as well as manslaughter." I said

"So you can wake up now." I said sadly

"Please it's been two years." I sighed

I sighed kissing her forehead softly and then I stood up.

"I'll be back soon." I said

I walked out of her room and back downstairs as I left.

Jakes pov

I was walking by her door when I heard Jonah talk to her.

I sat down and listened as tears fell down my cheeks and I sighed.
