CHAPTER 4: Smell of conspiracy

A/n pov:

Everyone gathered in morrone building for board meeting. Eva also reached there with Chen. She went inside the hall and sat besides Michelle while Chen stayed besides her. All the other mafias were present too

Suddenly director of morrone industries entered and sat at head chair. His secretary came forward with one file and put it in the front of him.

Director: I hope everyone is present here...let's start... Michelle cosa... cosa sta facendo ( Michelle, what-what are you doing)

Michelle looked at him with confused expression.

Director: see, how does your men involved in girl trafficking and now Police from Korea and China, are after us.

Michelle: but how can it be possible? My men were clearly instructed not to involved in these type of activities!

Director: oh then what are these...

He took the file and read through the page.

Michelle: non c'è assolutamente mogo gi.....( Ain't no way..) this clearly had to be misunderstanding, I never signed any of these files. In fact I have man who are continuously monitoring all the activities

Director: oh and what did your men got? This only

Michelle: I'll give you-

Director: abbastanza! ( Enough!) This is your last warning Michelle, don't ever indulge in these type of activities, do anything but I want my way clear...

Eva who was listening all these things now spoke

Eva: director I think someone had framed fratello Michelle... because...the file which you showed us were only signed by him...but not from me..

Director: Cosa vuol dire? (Wdym?)

Eva smirked and said

Eva: the people who made fake files, forgot that all the contracts and deal are not only needs fratello approvals but mine too..so the files were don't have sign of me so it clearly fake and doesn't implemented.

And with that Chen gave director the files of all the contracts that was signed both by Michelle and Eva.

???: Signorina Eva, some matters don't require your approval too. Michelle had passed this on own because clearly he knew that you won't approve it since you were also victim of this..you wouldn't had allowed anyways

Eva laughed and said

Eva: Albert...I think you had quite good night yesterday...

She said indicating the mark of lipstick on his shirt collar making him clenched his fist

Eva: now now you don't tell me Michelle's company rule when I made it myself. The things which don't require my approval were related to drugs and not with other things. Besides don't forget when you were about to go jail, fratello saved you by paying heavy amount to police...

She said sharply and Albert clenched his teeth

Eva: Ho bisogno di tempo, director. ( I need some time, director) to investigate this matter. I believe someone is trying to frame fratello and I'll expose them sure

Director: I believe in you Eva since you are smartest among us and helped us alot that's why I'm giving you time to bring the real culprit.

Eva: I will

Director: okay then meeting dismissed
And with that he got up and left that place.

Eva was also about to go when Albert spoke

Albert: smartest...*laughs* who didn't had inking of this Matter..

Chen was about to say something when Eva stopped him

Eva: nah I just overlooked some people thinking they will not bite us...but I was wrong

She came closer to him and said

Eva: if I found you are behind of everything... then that day will be your last day on earth....

Albert glared him and left that place leaving them behind.

Michelle: Eva thank you so much.. for everything...

Eva: please don't thank me fratello, you have already done so much for me...this is at least I can do.

Michelle part her head and Eva said

Eva: fratello, I am sure Albert is culprit, he tried to frame you..

Michelle: Non mi sorprende...( Not surprised)

Eva: I'll send someone to keep and eye on him.

Michelle: okay and I'll try to find that mf who copied my sign

Chen: I'll send this to handwriting expert.

Michelle: good now let's get back to work

And with that all left that place.

On the way:

Chen: wow Eva director seems to have trust on you

Eva: he had to Chen...after all I saved his family from russian mafias.

Chen: yeah

Eva: now ask Peter to send someone behind Albert. I am going office, I have to attend another meeting regarding our new project

Chen: alright
