All our wishes, oh so true,
Are for the same thing, so it's plain to view.
We just want to be seen and known,
Our hearts sorrowful and hearts thrown.
We just want to be loved, truly,
For without it, what else can be?
Every relationship has a certain amount of give and take,
And if we don't learn how to give, then we shall never partake.
For love is a process that requires both sides,
And if we can't give, we'll never be able to receive those tides.
