Jin and I walk around the park covered In Christmas lights.
"This was the most thoughtful birthday date I have ever had?"
"It was just a tree lighting." I sigh. "I wish I could have done more."
"Just a tree lighting?" He laughs.
"Mhm. I found out the military base does them, I figured you'd find them pretty."
"They're almost as breath taking as myself." He jokes.
"Oh quiet you." We both laugh. We head over to the small coffee truck handing out hot chocolate. "Want one?" I grin.
He shakes his head. "No thanks." I shrug and grab one hot chocolate. I sip the super hot liquid and immediately pull it away from me after burning my tongue. Jin lets out a laugh. "Hot chocolate is dumb, it's too hot to drink then when you can finally drink it, it's too cold. Just drink chocolate milk."
"Maybe I like the burn." I joke handing him the cup to hold.
"Ah, it's my birthday but somehow I'm holding your cup."
I wrap my arm around his arm and lean against him. "Good thing your job makes us still wear face mask, its so cold out."
"Are your dainty little white mittens not warm enough?" He smirks.
"Hey, they were cute."
"I told you they'd be awful, they wouldn't keep you warm."
I sigh. "I guess you were right hm?"
"I guess so." He looks off at the gorgeous sets of flashing lights.
"Which ones your favorite?"
"Hmmm..." he places a finger on his chin. "You."
"I'm not one of the displays."
"No but you are the most beautiful light here. Bright, beautiful, and so sweet."
I blush. "Stop it."
He pulls me into a hug. "I think I'll miss this the most." He pulls me closer.
"Miss what the most? What are you talking about?"
He sighs taking my hand and swinging it back and forth. "Lisse ah." He looked like he was going to cry.
"Is something wrong?" I tilt my head at him.
He shakes his head no. "Lets finish looking at the lights hm?"
