I get up to check it out

I make it a few rooms down to.......... Kentucky
"sh!t" I think "he's havin' 'nother nightmare."
I open the door, he curled under the blankets but he's shaking I sit at the end of the bed I gently nudge him
"ken....." I whisper he jumps out of his bed thankfully he didn't fell off
"no no no no" I hear him whispering "they all hate me it's all my fault, I'm the reason they're de@d if-" he say's fast
"hey hey, what's your fault?" I ask confused while also cutting him off
"I....." he mumbles out then he's starts crying I go to hug him
"sha what's wrong?!" I ask while trying to calm him down
"I-it was a nightmare....." he says fixated on his hands, he's doing it again when he's nervous he fixates on his hands pickin' at them
"well what was it 'bout?" I ask "t-the fire in-" he says
"Beverly hills I know.." I finish him
" it wasn't your fault someone set it on fire." I say looking him straight(not) into the eye
"Do you want me to stay?" I ask
"y-yes please..." he replies
"want to stay up a bit? Watch some movies?" I ask
he nods in approval so i turn on his favorite show The walking dead (I headcanon this cus carol's actor and the writer of the comics are from Kentucky!) we watch the show the rest of the night cuddle up
"hey dummy" I hear
"f#ck" I think, someone knows I'm with Kentucky I look up oh..... it's Florida
" hey dumb@ss" I reply getting out of the bed and turning the show off
"having nightmares again?" He ask
"yea...." I answer
"come on I have the perfect prank to pull on gov!" He say's excited
"ok I'm comin'" i reply taking one last look at Kentucky before turning the lights of and closing the door.
