Stiles poked a fire, giving it more oxygen to burn.

"Morning sunshine," Stiles said to the kid when he stirred.

"Where am I?" He asked, and he shuddered, looking around the ghost town.

"Somewhere safe," Stiles said,"You get used to the feeling after a while."

Canaan, a town wiped off the map by the Wild Hunt. Only one living person left, she stayed in her house with her fake son. There was an emptiness to it, a feeling that something terrible had happened there. A slaughter.

But because of the magic that kept this town forgotten it kept a lot of people from seeing them here. Even Kryptonian ones.

"Why'd you help me?" The kid asked.

Stiles didn't answer, he only asked,"What's your name?"

"...Alec," He answered.

"How long have you been a werewolf?"

"A few months," He replied,"Who are you?"

"Stiles."

Alec's eyes widened,"Stiles Stilinski?"

"You've heard of me. That's not a good sign," Stiles said.

"Is it true that you were part of the McCall pack? Before they..." Stiles stopped him with a glare,"I'm sorry."

"It was ten years ago, Alec," Stiles told him, standing up.

"I thought no one survived," Alec said,"I heard that everyone died there."

Stiles paused,"You heard right...Who bit you? Where's your pack?"

"I don't know," He replied,"I was just out one night and something bit me."

"There's not a lot of werewolves left," Stiles said,"But that means that whoever bit you is probably looking for you."

"How do you know?"

"Your part of their pack. That means they'll fight for you like family."

"They don't even know me."

"They don't have to. Where exactly were you bitten?"

"On my leg."

"No, where in the world were you bitten? The location."

. . .

"I've been running facial recognition for the last twenty four hours and there have been surprisingly not a lot to go on," Brainy told Kara upon her entry at the DEO, Alex and J'onn by her side,"From his old high school records I saw that he does prefer to go by Stiles."

"That makes sense. Mieczysław doesn't exactly roll off the tongue," Alex said.

"Well, for the last seven years he's resided here in National City, the three years before that he's been all around the US."

"Were you able to find out if he was a Metahuman?" J'onn asked.

"That's the interesting part," Brainy said, bringing up a video,"This was nine years ago, ten months before the particle accelerator explosion. Before any known record of Metahumans."

Pressing play, Kara saw that it was an oil rig fire, the entire structure being consumed by the flames.

The video was being taken by a helicopter, most likely coast guard.

"The report said that all the men inside were too far into the fire and most likely already dead," Brainy continued,"They were about to leave when this happened."
