Tonight was the last football game of the year and Natalie was nervous. She didn't want nate to mess up because she knew his dad would be upset with him and they got a new cheer teammate who has the same name as her. And Nat knows she has a thing for Nate.
And lastly she's getting bigger. So she can't really do the cheers anymore but she's still there cheering on her team. Mostly nate though.
All the cheerleaders lined up on the field into lines and shook their Pom poms in the air as the football team ran out.
Maddy and Nat were upset cause the new girl Natalie was cheering the loudest. For nate.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is it. This is the game you've all been waiting for." One of the announcer said
"That's right, Bart. This is the last game for the Hawks starting QB Nate Jacobs. It could be the final game of his high school career unless he can bring home the W, and get this struggling team to regionals." The second announcer said
"Speaking of struggles, he's had a lot off the field. It's been a big topic of conversation not only around the team, but also in this community. Here's the big question: Can he overcome this?" The first announcer said
"I think Nate Jacobs is gonna unify this ball club." The second announcer said "Thankfully his teammates have his back. We know the community has his back. How much of the game is he going to put on his back?" The first announcer said
"Play!" The referee yelled "Here we go. It's game time." The first announcer said "Red, twelve. Red, twelve. Hut." Nate yelled and the game started
They were loosing. The blackhawks were loosing. It made both Nate and Nat nervous cause Cal was there.
"Welcome back. Fourth quarter. Time running down. Hawks trailing. 23 to 27, red. Here we go. It's first in ten, on the 20. A minute and a half left to go, in what is a very close game. We need a good play." The announcer said
"Green 13. Hut." Nate shouted and caught the ball and threw it to one of his teammates but they didn't catch it
"Goes right through the hands of the receiver. Jacobs threw him a perfect ball." The second announcer said "Hut!" Nate yelled and threw the ball
"Oh, my gosh, again! Right through the receiver's hands." The second announcer said "Let's fucking go! Let's fucking go!" Nate said angry
"Bottom line, the wide receivers have got to give their QB some help tonight." The second announcer said
