Christmas Day, she spent it with Nate and his family because she hasn't seen her mom in a few days. She came home from Nate's after finding out the gender of the baby to an empty house.

She didn't think much of it at first, but now she doesn't know where she went. She was never that close with her, so she wasn't upset. She was worried but she wasn't upset.

She didn't tell Nate about her mom either because she didn't want to be a burden especially on the holidays. That's why she came over later that day.

"Natalie, hi, how are you?" Marsha said hugging her as she opened the door. "I'm good how are you." Natalie said stepping in the house. "I'm great. Have you had a good Christmas?"

"Yeah, it's been really good." Natalie lied "That's good, well Nate's upstairs I think he might be in the shower." Marsha said Natalie nodded before walking upstairs to his room and walking it. she did in fact hear his shower running.

"Nate?" Natalie said as she shut his door back and took her shoes off "Natalie?" He called back.

"Yeah, it's me. Hi" she said sticking her head through the shower door kissing him and smiling before going to sit on his bed to wait for him to finish.

When he got out and got changed, he sat on the bed looking at her with a hand on her belly.

She ignored him at first and texted Maddy back telling her she was coming to her house later to give her present which was if Maddy was going to have a niece or nephew. She knew she had been wanting to know, so she figured it would be the best gift for her.

And maybe a shit ton of Makeup as well.

She set her phone down and looked up at Nate weirdly since he had been staring at her for last few minutes.

"What?" She asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?" Nate shrugged "I'm just looking at you." He said she smiled and then kissed him.

"Do you want to go open presents?" Nate asked "Sure." Natalie said and stood up walking out behind Nate.

"Mom we're going to open the rest of the presents up." Nate said, "I'm coming." Marsh said and walked to the living room where Nate was Natalie already were.

Nate had let Natalie open up most the Christmas presents which were, as Nate had said days ago, gender neutral.

They got a stroller, some bottles, some pacifier's, diapers, and wipes. And some onesies.

It wasn't much, but Natalie really appreciated this. Marsha seemed really happy about the baby. But her own mother hasn't asked her how she was doing with her pregnancy. And she obviously hadn't gotten any gifts. which she wasn't upset about. She was upset because she didn't get to see her mom on Christmas.
